I'm a CDNIM apologist. I actually don't mind the opening at all. And the dry down lasts 12 hours and gets compliments everywhere you go. That's the best one, for the price, bar none 😊
Yeah, I’m in the dry down not bad, I don’t mind it. I just cannot get past that opening. But that’s what I love about fragrances. They’re all subjective and everyone gets something different.!
But I do agree it is a compliment beast in the dry down 😎
I feel the same unfortunately after my first 3 bottles the current ones seem weak and have hardly any staying power. I even wrote to Armaf’s House of Sterling asking then why they changed the formulation- a simply denial that it was the same. My brother who lives 200 miles away has also been extremely disappointed. I went and found an EDP - a smaller bottle at 150ml and it’s a little better,.but nowhere as good as the original.

Good review! You might want to test the Loewe esencia Elixir EDP. I like the Explorer. I won’t buy the Club de Nuit because it’s too synthetic and harsh opening. I wanted to try the Barrett’s but shipping from the USA to Portugal is problematic getting through customs without paying an arm and leg.

Yeah man I’m not much for clones either normally. But sometimes they can have their own little flair to them that is quite enjoyable. And yeah bro, I agree sometimes for people who are new to the game. I will recommend a clone just to see if they even like that kind of DNA that way they didn’t spend hundreds of dollars. And yeah bro that would be a great honor for you to join us one day.. I would be elated!
I have both the CDNIM Pure Parfum and Mont Blanc Explorer. I enjoy both, however, for work, I love Explorer.

I think you should have specified which version of CDNIM you where reviewing as there are about 6 versions. The 4 main one are the EDT, the EDP, the Parfum and the Limited Edition. I think they made 200ml of the EDP exclusively, which is supposed to be similar to the EDT version.
Was expecting the usual contender for best Aventus clones which are often Supremacy not only intense, Club de nuit Limited Edition, L'aventure intense and Rayhaan Imperia.
I gotta try that alt version. I’m more a fan of the fruit and vanilla aspect of aventus and less so the smoke. I would say you should try rayane insurrection pure 2, less than $20 and smells great. Downside is the performance is worse than modern aventus, if that’s at all possible.
Maybe I have magic skin, I don’t get terrible performance off of the new batches. I’m still getting like six hours. With pretty decent projection. Maybe try putting some unscented lotion on before you spray see if that helps.

CDNIM edt is my most complimented scent from women ever. Maybe a couple from Creed over the years, but man, the ladies will stand next to me on purpose because they like the edt so much. Must be because it last so long?? Drives them crazy.

How does Vahalla project? I owned CDN LE and Rayhaan Imperia and oh boy, those were synthetic. But were lasting power.
I think it projects pretty well. Honestly, I get good projection and longevity.

I do not know about clones but I do know the new Creed Aventus Absolu is the best one yet!
Yes is quite amazing. So fresh and woody kinda has a musky undertone. It’s pretty awesome.
Absolu Aventus was great! Definitely expensive...
I was getting compliments after the work day 8 hours later. The 1st day I wore it I got no lie 6 compliments. I wear fragrance for myself but a genuine compliment is always nice.
Hear it’s a twist of aventus at the top then transitions into Sauvage . If that’s the case I don’t want it!
Does Valhalla require maceration? Received mine today and it lacks depth.

The reason why your club nuit was only $25 and doesn't smell like Creed is because it was EDT not the EDP, which is supposed to make the difference. The Parfum is $50+

It's not very friendly for people from other countries, that doesn't speak English as main language.
And showing the bottle to a 4 mtr away camera it's not enough to see the name on the bottle, don't even bother.
2020-2022 were the worst years for Aventus….so fleeting, no longevity
They all trash none of them can smell natural like Aventus and nowhere near Aventus opening. All the clones smell like chemicals
You’ve smelled all of these and you think there all trash . Man you must be right, what were we thinking ….., oh well now I do remember something about smell being subjective and everyone gets different things and everyone likes different smells …. Must be a rumor or something!
