You are a lucky dude. 😄😄🚙 I just want my €5K compact EV to be future proof and I want to have flexibility to swap to longer range when available and whenever I feel like driving for longer than an hour a trip. 😀 I kind of hope a giant company will invest a billion € in Microlino so they can achieve what I am hoping, and to quickly sell millions of these.. 😄
Un vídeo muy interesante, no solo por el Microlino que me parece espectacular si no por todos los temas tan interesantes que expones sobre el mundo de la automoción, la producción etc. Muy buena entrevista a la familia Microlino, ¡enhorabuena!
I still want split seats. The big thing for me is being able to take my big sports bag wherever I go and being able to fold down one half of the seat would make all the difference for me.
I hope they build/license regional factories throughout the world because this is the everyperson car the world needs for 99.9% of our driving. We only really need a full-sized, full-powered vehicle for the rare out of town highway trips that we take like 1-2 times per year max... Otherwise, going to work, school, getting groceries is fine in something like this or a Smart Fortwo. And believe me in a city you want as small a car as possible which is why this Fortwo driver would love to own a Microlino or even a Wuling Cabrio!
Looks nice like the old Isetta, I remember my neighbour getting stuck in hers against a wall as they didn’t have reverse gears, only 3 wheels too. This will sell well for cities so long as its under £8k on the road
I would guess they have no choice but to have the sun roof because the door is at the front if you crash head on there is no other way to get out...he did well diverting from any conversation with the sun roof though
Well if sun roof is fully waterproof, securely locked, thermally opaque, and easy to open and close, without adding much cost to manufacturing, then it's really great to have this sun roof. 😃👍
I love the car since they introduced it a few years ago. The pricing however is absurd. This should be 15k€ (at the absolute max) for the largest battery pack in order to make me consider buying.
Yes I guess they need to make much bigger volume. Selling 3000 already is impressive for a startup, but with 30'000 people waiting for their Microlinos, they need to make these much faster, and I'd say to significantly reduce the prices, somehow. 😆
They should decrease the price to at least 15000 € as a base, but considering it's eletric it's not unexpected, just too costly for the competition tho
what a car should be its a city car and short hops most travels in a car is less the 20 miles most top speeds are 15mph or less in the city put a bag groceries in the back better than a motorcycle keeps the sun out your face can take it on the freeway or drive in the rain or snow if needed better than a motorcycle , its cheap, its new, fun to drive, its cool.
@@stevemcguire1810 The car is so small, you can turn directly into the sidewalk, straight ahead into the sidewalk. So the cars are not in front or behind each other, but they are parked side by side. One regular car park can fit two Microlinos parked side by side. And each user exits and enters directly onto the sidewalk..
I love it they will sell so well
Would love one of these in the UK. Perfect city / second car.
Needs wheels that rotate can around for easier parking. Definitely the future though, can imagine them being modular for larger households.
You can literally drive right in to the side-walk, not sure how parking could be made any easier.😄
I love my Microlino Competition! And no, no need of swapping the battery, I never needed it with my Model S and also never on my Microlino.

Bring it to the States!!!!!

Looks like an isetta of the 1960s.

I want one. The current price is fine. In fact my LEV shop would be a great dealership. Why is it so hard to get this tech in The U.S?

£18k! Which is crazy, if it was half that I’d be ordering one.
@@J.S.A. I won’t be buying one at £18k, I though they would be about £10k, even thats a bit pricey for a toy to go to the shops in
@@stevenbarrett7648 completely agree. It’s actually nearer £22k depending on model. Mental.

wait a little bit longer, chinese will dump prices globally)
Surprise, surprise no British companies in this market.
How are the sales?! I'm sure it has its market but the price is rather a bit on the high side.
How much one of those cost in Alberta Canada for a sample for seniors?

wow like a toy but its not a toy..
How do you get in when someone parks in front of you...?
Well it is nice you can park it perpendicularly to the sidewalk and you can just exit and enter right onto the sidewalk. Kind of awesome.
So it has a door on the left too?

Pricing is crazy, cheap Chinese electric cars coming (with 4 seats) for 8k, why would you pay 3 x the price??
Which Chinese car for 8k? Are you talking about price imported to the European market?
Not in Europe, and these are allegedly highly subsidized.
It's an Isetta bubble car with a battery and electric motor!!
