I am not really into cars, a car is a car but I love this vlog, I love the tiny, unique, electric and quirky cars. In fact I love the whole vlog. Thanks
Hello, The black Ferrari that you saw at the beginning of this video was in fact a Porsche. Although it fell into the supercar category, it is ironically, also 100% electric.
I reckon the most interesting of all those is the Microlino, looks great fun. I remember the original BMW Isetta Bubble Car in the 60’s. An amazing reinterpretation of that original car for modern times.
It's brilliant that you both have a sunny mid-week special. Love the Microlino & can just see you in one, but I guess that would ruin your vlog's name. They are expensive, though. The Silence car looks really cool, too.
Yeah loving the Microlina, reminds me of a modern Isetta bubble car. My neighbour had one when I was a kid, just loved it. Cheers guys makes a change from super cars in Monaco.
The Microlino looks fun. We are biased as we have a Twizy on our farm. It is always covered in mud. Brilliant transport instead of using a petrol quad, and quiet 😀
The Rolls Royce in the window you saw was on what’s called a trickle charger, it just keeps the battery from dying👍🏻 Ps. That “Ferrari” that gave you way was a Porsche Taycan which is very much electric ⚡️
Nice surprise to get a mid-week video and lovely to see round Monaco, as well as all the various electric cars - love the 'smiley face' Microlina! A little comment on the sound (sorry) - we've noticed on recent videos that Mr Boo's microphone is difficult to hear at times, puts the lip reading to the test!
Thanks. There’s a weird thing randomly happens to a very small number of viewers which oddly disappears if you watch again or watch on another device. It’s very annoying but we’re fairly sure it’s not us.
The electric superbike is one of the coolest ever to be produced. Surprised to see so.many microcars in Monaco, marques that I've never heard of. Makes alot of sense in Monaco where the population density is about 10000 per square km. Loved the race between the microlina and the Ferrari! Priceless. Great video as always. 😅
Thanks for this sightseeing tour, makes you want to more (googlenglish, sry). Sure there are also a mass of big elec. cars in Monaco sneaking around, but only small little cars are giving a smile on ones face.
❤ loving your videos. They are giving me more inspiration to pack up and start living abroad. I'm into.design so the car content is brilliant. Keep up the great work guys ❤
I've wanted a Twizy for years but in Britain it would have to be in addition to a "normal" car. Watching the advert for the Microlino might have to change my mind if the guy comes with it! Thank you for such a fabulous channel.
To film through windows; you should try a linear polarized filter. Reflections are often polarized in one direction, if you rotate the filter 90° angle to the reflections, you can sometimes remove most or all reflections. You just manually rotate the filter, and you'll quickly see where you get more and less reflections.
Monaco is certainly a place of, um, contradictions ? Great to see all the electrified stuff going on. I do like that Microlino, I saw the glowing review on YT's Fully Charged Show, it's a great little EV. Thanks for the tour ! Cheers, Dave in Wales
There is indeed a vast market for this type of micro-electric vehicles in Europe. The fact that cities are congested with their narrow streets makes the use of this type of vehicle desirable, Monaco is an example of this, with a very high population density and limited space. In any case, it's always a treat to see all those supercars. It's an immense contrast between small-sized vehicles and others that are almost absurd in size and power. The detail of the kitchen roll behind you is charming lol
The short, random strolls are fun, and it was interesting to catch a better glimpse of the Rough-Cut Diamond Life in Monaco. I'm very much looking forward to seeing a segment on your driving school and having you do some test-drives and rental reviews on other EV's would be Magnifico! I see Microlino has test drives, As it's a bit more than a Quadacycle do you need a Driver's License to drive it in Monaco? Great video . My electric boardman hybrid cycle 8.9 e ,has that battery in the down tube , does about 40 miles on one charge . The battery is removable. The topolino look great ,like the old bubble cars but cleaner .
Nice, all those electric cars. My Dacia Spring in the same green color as mine was also there. This car is highly recommended, a lot of car for a relatively low price!
Loved this video lads being a car lover, went to Monaco a few years ago and took some photos of the police Twizzys before having a drink outside the Cafe de Paris which wasn't cheap but loved sitting there watching all the super cars come & go. Would love to go there again didn't realise all the buses and police vehicles were now electric.
Sweet Monaco. We love staying atop in the hills of Eze. Our go to for part of our Cote d'Azur stays over the last 8 years has been at Les Terrasses d'Eze, hanging over the edge on Rte de la Turbie (so wicked at night).
For those who appreciate accuracy in language, can we agree that the police force isn’t “fully electrocuted” (5:44); what you mean here & earlier ( 3:31) is surely “electrified”?
i wonder is their like a Semi Micro Car where its like 1 seat in middle and like extra space around you and like enough space behind for a second seat or or a good spacious trunk
It’s possible but we sometimes find that showing events after they have happened isn’t very popular. People tend to watch things they might themselves do rather than things they have missed.
Tim whats your thoughts on the new Renault 5 Electric? A lovely retro look from our childhoods. I saw a preview for it and thought it would suit you 2 guys. 🚗
The next video will be spot the Mega Multitruck or Aixam D Truck out in the arrière pays! Great video and good to see sans permis in the unlikeliest of places. BTW I don't like super cars, give me a Dacia any day... 😊
@@MeandMonAmi you’ll make Elton jealous, besides you only want it for the 230 litre boot space 🤣 think about how much you could fit in, especially when you go shopping over the border
That was fun. They're not electric but I recently came across some videos of the American car company Crosley which made subcompact cars from about 1939 to 1952. They were cute as a button but not what the post-war generation of Americans wanted, namely gigantic behemoths with oceans of chrome. I wonder if Microlino can make a replica of the BMW Isetta, whether anyone would bring the Crosleys back in an electric version.
The Honda e.Ny1 you saw has become hard to sell at £/€45k, last month they are on “special” at £28k!! You can get one for £179 a month, no deposit!! So cheap…. I bought 2!! I’ll give them back at the end of 2 years, I imagine they’ll be worth around £20k. And incidentally, it’s a Honda made in Wuhan, China not Japan. The Dacia will arrive here in October, £15k for short range model.
That ugly Biro thing is massively popular here in Amsterdam, even though they are quite expensive for what you get. Rich youththth's tend to take these to school, but people are slowly also discovering the Opel Rocks-e (northern continent's make of the Citroën Ami).
Problem with the chargers per person thing is that installing ten chargers in Monaco makes a much bigger difference than installing ten in the UK or London as you say. I would think that in a place where space is massively at a premium like Monaco, small micro cars and bikes are going to be really popular for use. Although if you've enough monty not to worry about it, got to show off somehow.
Considering how far your little car will go on 1kWh of electricity, and also considering a 400 watt solar panel only costs £180, I’m amazed Citroen doesn’t put solar on the Ami
It's a shame, that those Microlino car's are so expensive... Yes, the Biro is Italian! But I don't know.... It somehow looks like an immobility car... Go for the 'fast' Microlino when you get your drivers licence! I very much liked this one, guy's! Keep it up! ❤

Monaco has six regular city bus lines going around the place. The most useful are the two that climb up to Monaco Ville where the Prince's palace is. There is also the French 100 bus passing through Monaco on its way along the coast from Menton to Nice. And a very useful 110 direct bus to Nice Airport. So, yes, people in Monaco have, use and enjoy public transport.
Lol at comparing Monaco and electric buggies/chargers to London, that's like comparing apples to oranges. When we drove to Italy from France via Monaco it took us about 20 minutes to drive through the principality. Takes a lot longer than that to drive right the way through Greater London. Those little cars remind me of the old bubble cars that were around when I was a kid. Monaco is the ideal place for those mini EV's since it's a small area self-contained place and it is a sensible option for the locals. Wouldn't work elsewhere, if they were in London for example they would be a magnet for the low life joyriders.

I took microlino for a test drive and it was a dissapointment. Ami is more tough and behaves much better on the streets and over bumps, while the microlino is trembling all over bumps and uneven streets. It is just for show off, overpriced at 3 times the price of Ami…
