@soropoe Hey, great thoughts in this video. I like your videos, but at 21:00 you mentioned retention problems on a video. I think it helps if you engage in the comments, man. If you fire and forget a video, you’ll see less engagement. If you engage more, people engage more. Heck, a lot of times I know I will read comments (especially OP’s) while continuing to listen. If I see a bunch of unanswered questions similar to my own, I’ll be more likely to move on. Food for thought.

hey, so whats the current shipment strat? Just send ships with the exact amounts the different locations require? Or would you send all your food items to a location if it had 100%+ modifiers?
been following soro since his first couple of videos. the guy makes excellent guides. he used to make budget builds thats what his channel was when he started. still one of the best poe creators on YT like palsteron, subtractem, zizaran and many more!
You guys mention at 28:30 ish how people can get disillusioned with builds regardless of their superiority, lack thereof, etc.. By far the best thing about this league so far for me personally has been the realisation that i dont actually care how much damage i can do because I HATE DYING. it gives me anxiety. Moral of the story is that for any future build success i need to remember to build around my personality, not thw pwrson making the guide. Im a passive stress head adhd. So, i have to build a tank that can afford to get distracted by spotify when mapping coz all i really want to do is survive and find stuff. Dont gAF about endgame bosses. ❤
I am not making excuses. I dont like wearing my glases when playing, so I dont play anything that requires high levels of attention to details. Evading large pools of no-no is fine, spotting that dark rune on a redblack surface is not.
The problem with builds, I think, is that in most other games, you can find builds that are easily obtainable and end-game viable Whereas in PoE it feels like you often need to leaguestart off something and then once you have currency, get another uber end game build
It’s not normal (compared to other games) or intuitive that you need different builds for different things - that the “all rounder” is not a thing. Like you said, the league starter vs end game build. But even “end game” can be something very specific. Part of this is unknown because POE is different than other games. Part of this comes from expectations set by clickbaity vids making claims about builds that can do everything on a small budget (until the second the video is posted). I’ve been playing POE a few years now on and off, and I’ve only just now started discerning how to see through the noise.
@@JayM928 I think it's less about whether people know about it and more about whether this is FUN. I hate having to cut off entire swathes of content because my build is incapable of doing them properly. I just hate it. Having to slog through the several hour-long campaign a 2nd or 3rd time to be able to do it is just frustrating. And then you lose all the character power and other stuff that made your character great too.
i had a shipment of 1.2 mil with less than a 6% ridk, and pirates stole 2/3rds of it !!!!!! 2/3rds I made more 99% shots with XCOM 2 (thats XCOM, baby) than successful shipment in poe
In regards to people preferring money strats I think Belton said it best, "You're build's not shit, you're just poor." I usually roll my own builds and after clearing atlas on a league starter tend to quit. This league I focused more on making money(Thanks Faustus!), learning crafting, and investing into the build and am now on my second high investment self-roll. I will probably play another month or two since I'm having such a blast farming up for a day or two and trying to craft a gg upgrade.
To continue the car analogies, a lot of people are looking for a used car that runs, not looking for a mint condition supercar, and have the budget for a used car. This is why the low-divine challenges are somewhat popular. No one's looking at the multi-mirror items as a reality, no one looking for a used car knows what the hell those items look like.
At 12:45 ish talking about things to fix, personally I feel like there needs to be something between t16 and 17. You can have a build that can just churn 16s that can't even do an easy rolled 17
I started Ele hit in SSF and had the same issue. I rerolled Slayer LS and now I can finally run them but it took so much gearing to get there. I think I was lvl97 before I could reasonably clear a T17. In trade it should be far easier to gear if you know how to make currency by profit crafting or buy low/sell high would be my guess.
I think the biggest problem is the fact that farming strats that streamers make videos of destroy the price of what it costs to farm that Strat lol we need a way to implement a way that prices don't fluctuate based on views and rather rarity of drop rate
I agree, money making strats should not be shared. Where you have fun if you take everything from a guide. Peoples should at lest by own figureout money making strats, and when youtuber release it it break this strate. There is no point in making it except youtuber getting views in exchange for breaking strats for everyone, and making everyone angry.
I went from making divines on every 3rd or 4th shipment to shipping 10-20 times what I was originally shipping and making just a few chaos doesn't feel like a buff
It feels horrible to do, but using locus mines on siege ballista helped a lot in juiced content. It completely resolves totem placement speed and gives you enough range to avoid just about everything. Coupled with totem taunt the spread from locus works in your favor and you can replace them instantly if they're being killed.
@@oneoranota ty! I'm doing exiles and all the leap slam/charging was getting rough. Plus firestorms and such just eating your totems. I'm thinking it would work best on an ice spear totem build since they can afford to lose some damage and benefit greatly from the safety.
I do feel like the general balance of top end juicing is kind of in a bad spot with the removal of magic find but I personally blame that more on balance of drops and less on the removal of magic find. Like the best way to get more loot is to put more monsters in your maps finally being true again is kind of nice. Although I really hope that rolling strongboxes isn't the best farming strategy next league.
PPl are sticking to one or two builds bc Leveling is the biggest pain/Timewaste! i have to force myself even for the leaguestart to suffer me through the campain every start!
To the reason we (as in youtube viewers) click PoB's and then dont watch the video (at 21:50): It's definitely not currency or that people just look for currency strats rather than builds. The only reason why some build guides may flop in relation to currency is if you start out in the first 20 seconds by showing off a double corrupted MB and an OSin so people click off immediately. Often times you want to look for a build that you enjoy and if you are experienced in PoE, seeing how to build the build and what passive nodes, gems and uniques it uses is already enough to form an opinion on whether or not to play the build -> if you arent interested, why watch. Most RUclipsrs also put gameplay footage at the very start of their video, so if that isnt to the players liking they of course immediately click off. Also I often just open PoB's of builds i dont actually plan on building after, to get inspired or to discover interactions that i can use for the next build i am planning or my current build. Also, most builds have been done before. There's a reason why your Beacon of Destruction build or for example ifnjeff's lens loop bomber are blowing up compared to the views of your other videos: They showcase unique interactions that havent been (or havent been in such depth) explored in that way before. Any build guide like LS this league that is very similar to 100s of other builds that have been done in the past doesn't get anybody to stay, because they've seen variations of it 100 times in the past.
The issue for me isn't even that people take the pob and leave, I think if you're a good player that makes total sense since you probably won't get much value anyways from getting explained basic stuff. The issue is when the culture is so shifted that even midtier/casuals have the impression they don't need any context, take the pob, fail, then make you responsible for it. That's what I was referencing with the "culture shift" and personal responsibility. The game is too complex for the average player to not get any help with the build and "just roll with the pob". (unless your expectations are lowered) Also creative vids OFTEN get overlooked and the most clicked on vids are ALWAYS meta builds, so I think your view on this is skewed by it being 1 month into the league and most people left are experimenting anyways. Look back to Lightning Strike/Bleed Glad/Archmage clicks and tell me anybody cares that much about "creative builds". The vids you named are exceptions, not the rule.
@@Palsteron True, new players should definitely not fall in that category. Maybe new players are put off by the level of understanding needed for build guides and are rather going for maxroll-type guides then? Idk why they'd click the PoB then but i can definitely see somebody playing gladiator being stuck and then trying to watch a bleed glad build guide only to find out theres like 100 ways to build one and what they've been doing doesnt match the thing they see at all. To the video thing: yes, creative videos do often get overlooked but that happens everywhere sadly. Maybe i am going off of my own watch-habits but i sincerely think that gladiator and Lightning Strike videos were both only popular because of ascendancy changes. People saw new content, eg. glad, warden, melee/skill changes and wanted to see what builds use warden/glad/skills that got changed. Archmage is an outlier there but i think that build just got hyped by ziz and others and it does look very fun since you are pretty fast. True, maybe people do want the "most optimal" build to leaguestart (so in hindsight you might be right with builds that are easy currency being better algorithm-wise) but im pretty sure most people building after those plan to convert/reroll characters once they have enough currency, which is where what i said comes in. The builds i mentioned do stand out but imo arent exceptions but rather the norm over many leagues. A few meme or offmeta builds will always be popular each league. Ziz, jungroan etc. have many many build guides which get low views because they are good builds but neither unique in their gear/PoB nor special in the way they play. There is a reason why things like Jousis's or eirikeiken's build guides were well received in the past. Also, very unique builds may make people more inclined to actually watch an explanation on them (-> watchtime go zoom) rather than builds that are very straightforward. Thats just speculation on my part but when the build isnt particulary hard to pull off i do find myself skipping through a guide aswell.
@@Palsteron Honestly, if someone just takes the PoB, skips explanation and fails that's on them. On meta vs creative build guides: Doesn't that fully depend on the progression of the league? Early you'll get people looking for an easy start and more inexperienced/new players, a month in the audience shifts towards the "veterans" who are more interested in something new/creative.
Removing Quant was ok, iam not a fan of that but its fine. But its defintly not fine to try to fix this with t17 maps because this doesnt work. Ive heard hundreds of people complaining about that 1. Everything outside of T17 feels bad and 2. T17 comes not close to MF before. And its right. I mean ive got pretty lucky this league but NEVER before in the last 2 years i had so less drops of good div cards, raw divine orbs, keys and so on. On T17, even with Rarity Gear, highly juices, wildwood and the Quant Scarab u literally just only get basic standard currency or scarabs. In many points it just feels like they capped the amount of "good" drops on a map. First removing conversions, than completly MF is a huge mistake if they dont change something in the future. Even without MF u were able to get multiple Div Drops every few maps in affliction or necropolis pretty easy in endgame but now even if u highly juice ur T17 it feels impossible. The only time this happens is a dub drop from a strongbox. In my opinion it would be much better to change the interactions between MF gear and a character than just removing everything what makes fun and feels good.
@@kingdweeb5065 This scarab does not even close work than conversions before necropolis xD Have u even played the game? They legit removed possibilities how conversions work, not even a scarab can changed that if they removed this completly from the game. If u have no knowledge about the game, be quiet! xD
Mate what if I told you its not true that t17 are bad? Honestly with my 20-30 c setup i almost match my t17 setups. While I farm t17. So you can be self sustained and do multiple starts that complement each other.
@@GleBanana Who said that T17 are bad? Its pretty easy to be profitale on T17 but this not the topic. The topic is how does T17 and T16 now feels compared to before without conversion, MF, Quant and overall nerfs in the last 2 leagues. If i juiced a T16 map in Crucible like i do now with T17 i overall got MUCH more raw divine drops and more rarer Div Cards for example. But this doesnt mean that T17 isnt profitable. For me it just feels more worse than before..
@@devn6568 but it's not honestly. Depends on what and how you farm. And how good your build in certain type of farm is :) My point I si always try to find off-meta fun stuff to farm so my scarab setup it's cheap. Since I don't see a point in alch n go after they merged scarabs and sextanats :)
lets hope they fix the shipment bug.. lost 2 shipments yesterday they just were empty, all workers still alive, all ressources gone and no rewards... ( just as if they never started an expedition)
Meme builds are in a bit of a rocky spot imo and I think its in part due to how youre incentivised to farm these days. If you want to make enough currency to keep up with upgrades you kind of have to drill deep into a few mechanics. By the time you're done juicing up your farm you have much higher build requirements than most of the base game demands, whether or not its speed/survivability/damage for temples/ultimatums/essences your character needs to be much more efficient than something that dedicates a bunch of real estate to making silly interactions work. This has always been the case to some degree but it wasnt as noticable back when alch and go was more profitable and before rare mob modifiers compounded like they do now. Not to mention T17s. ofc this is all negated through currency but at a certain point a character with mageblood and +10 gem levels ceases to be a meme build lol.
I personally haven’t been using any of kingsmarch since I figured that for the same amount of gold paid I could just flip scarabs on the auction house. I been buying 200 of a specific scarab for 6000c and turning them in for 58d every 2-3 hours for about 300k gold which is easily farmable every hour with any half decent glacier strat. The league mechanic is very nice but the auction house just gives me 20d every 3 hours 🤷🏻♂️
so if i understand right, i should hit quotas as much as possible to unlock new crop requests for extra % they show ? and then should i over send the crops they want ? for example, they ask for 1k wheat, should i send 7k regardless since the % bonus applies to all 7k unless the quota is filled ? or the amount over the cap gets reduced anyway ?
I’m still not getting crap from shipping. I’m at like level 7 or 8 town with maxed shipping. Is there some cutoff or minimum where I’m going to see something like divine or mirror shard? If someone discusses this in detail, can you please send a link? Thanks.
Damn. That's hella bad luck. I randomly dump like 2k of each thing and add dust to match (~500k) to kalguur before heading to bed. Usually get at least a div from one of the 3 ships.
Started in Torment League, I'm split. Playing the game is better than it ever was, theorycrafting builds on the other hand has become pretty dull imo. Wish they'd stop with stuff like retaliation skills requiring the glad node and certain passive nodes warping the trees of entire archetypes. Melee splash and attack mastery forces strike trees to travel down to the Duelist, so any Marauder or Ranger strike tree will look basically the same. Top side example would be smth like occultist, which will nearly always be a tree around the power charge nodes. I'm actually having trouble to get away from cookie cutter trees nowadays, which just feels wrong in PoE. Might actually be one of the reasons build guides are doing worse as a format, now that you guys brought that up.
Not True Palsteron, there is another league mechanic from where u get Mirror shards-- Expadition!!! i get from Tujen last 6 + Leagues Shards this League too! but more from shipping thats true :D
I always play budget build. I never go more than 10div into a build. Even so, 10 do build can be super good and smooth. When I feel I'm starting to clear whole screen in 1 tap of button I start another build. When you reach a point when more than 20-30 min basicly everything in game is irrelevant. You don't need to watch your screen even. Just randomly tap 1 key. That why after 4 days on SC where I did everything in game I got bored so I moved to SSFSC. And now again I feel pressure, where I have limited resources and need to fix build problems (like res, avoid ailments etc)
bro i'm building a car with instructions. hundreds of divines into fireball but i can't kill t17 map bosses. Farms like a machine but the ST for fireball ignite is hard to balance
Damn I really like the point about meme builds. Because it’s so true! The moment you try something where it’s 2mil dps don’t even think about killing some of those rare monster even in yellow maps. Honestly didn’t all this build pressure start during the league where they changed from the old monster modifiers to the new ones? I think the time matches pretty well
Well, no. 2mil dps is more than enough to get atlas completion and at least 2 voidstones. Don’t farm rare monsters in map and expect it to be efficient tho (essence, beast, but hey, you gotta start making currency somewhere) you are right about that
I feel like build diversity is at an all time low. Maybe it's just me but defenses feel VERY bad at the moment. Either you stack endurance charges somehow or you have infinite budget with purity watcher's eye and hard physical->Ele shifting. Spells are not in a great place unless you go Archmage or mines (hexblast specifically). Mana is in a terrible spot too. Maybe it's a me problem but I think its harder than ever to create a POB with a random spell I want to use that doesn't end up having sub 10k phys max hit (that doesn't have a 100+D budget).
24:05 : that's a bit of a strawman the reason for new players to do ubers is to do 40/40 challenges, and they want to do challenges because it's the most commonly understood progression metric in a league because nearly all modern games have something like it once you're familiar with the game, you aim for many other fun aspects of the game beside completionism
you get plenty of uber completion services in trade chat and noticeboards.. its not because of that. its because a little experienced players are making fun of new players who come in. they portray as if they dont belong here unless they can do ubers
MF bad. Melee has this thing where it can never have the uptime on mobs that range builds can, they were missing a fuckload of damage the entire time. Earthshatter used to be good because it did so much damage, now look at it again. Ambidexterity was one of the only skills worth anything in affliction because it did enormous amounts of damage. I enjoyed discussion. Great ssf league for me when i'm usually a trade blaster. The base game is so good right now man
Empyrian has a video that farm a mageblood with 12 day and 8 hr per day with only league mechanic, around 2.9D/hr and only 30% of the income come from shipping. And you are saying shipping is rewarding LOL. If a player only play 2-3hr a day, how they get enough gold to maintain whole day worker. It just doesnt make sense.
Depends on the strat. U can easy do around 1-1.5 mill Gold per hour thats enough for ur workers even if u haved maxed out ur kingsmarch. And a mageblood is not the argument for bein profitable and rewarding. Easy ships are giving u so many free divines, exalteds and other good stuff nearly for free. But yes if the mageblood and over 300Div are "rewarding" enough than maybe it isnt.
@@sunnykwan5630 So even if u have no big hit in your ships (and empyrean does this before the buffs, and yes its defintly a buff after the patch) u are doin around 3-4 Div a hours for doin legit nothing. In my opinion 3-4 without big hits sounds rewarding for doin nothing.
@@sunnykwan5630 The Dust changes, many people are sayin this was a nerf but i cant confirm that. Since that patch ive gotten much easier multiple divine orbs in my ships than before.
The inclusion of the currency marketplace cannot be understated. imagine playing this league without it. everybody would be swimming in currency but it will be an utter shitshow liquidating it after every session.
the problem imo is that build guides dont bother to explain how to actually make your build function most of the time like, youre a couple of weeks into the league have made like 20 divs but wtf do you spend it on, and if you already have decent gear, how and where do you learn what you could improve on that gear, should i get a +3 amulet? a better weapon? should i get some damage rings bc my resistances are highly overcapped, should i bother with chaos res? if yes how much how do you know what the problems are with your current setup which is not just a problem with the guides but also the game itself, it makes 0 attempt at telling you why you randomly get oneshot sometimes enemies just seem to be immortal and you can only guess why degen auras are atrocious and unintuitive also for some builds its also really weird to explain why people are doing certain things why are there builds that have an ehp of like 1k and 2billion dps why do tornado shots just kinda say fuck it, and dont build any survivability aside from maybe a progenesis who tf uses a squire, isnt that just a roundabout way of using a 2h weapon? if you dont know about influenced support explicits that doesnt make sense, and yea sure thats really high budget but i dont think ive seen that many build guides going into the depth of buildcrafting and how to make your builds take off instead of just being this, okay tier t16 mapper that gets sneezed out of existence by normal maven
The league mechanic is OK but for me more of a headache than it is worth - but it is something "new" so I'm fine with it. Affliction I made 11 mirrors so "you will never see anything like this" describing the town is complete hogwash.
i loved mfing cause i felt like playing at the maximum grinding potential , now i can just get to stupid levels of power creep and execute the current maximum grinding potential as the zombie player i am which means geting 2-3 mirrors worth in week 1 i guess and slamming foward , it changed nothing to me and now its clear gear quant was never an issue FOMO was PS i dont really think the average players r loving that much paying 0.5 mirr for their mb i wonder how you grind that playing with 31 kids on your desk and just for 2 hours a day , just saying
25:35 where do you think this expectation comes from? Shall I scroll down RUclips at all the thumbnails - “all content Uber awesome build for 10c?” Honestly, this is probably the second time in the years I’ve been playing that someone has expressed that you need to specialize in things if you have a low budget. Again, most of the videos are “LOOK AT HOW AMAZING THIS BUILD IS!” (Red arrow click-me click me click me…!). Draw in the noobs, set the expectations high, then later on when they can’t pull it off… “well, of course you can’t do that on 2 divines…” “But your video said…” “Nah bro… ‘cheap’ means like 50d minimum.” “Well, now you tell me.”
The lack of MF made early game, week 1 mostly, little harder as the chase uniques were more expensive, but that makes the league life better.... and now, 4 weeks in, everyone is at degenerate levels anyway, so W for deleting quant in my opinion
literally nothing changed, party still has op ways of farming uniques while solo mfers were never a problem to begin with (and solo mf is still a thing, but now it requires you a multi-mirror character xd)
And thats just what u think but not the truth. They removed the FUN out of MFing and nearly all possibilities and the way to do it solo but believe me, there are diffrent strats for atleast a MF DD + Aurobot to PRINT T0 Uniques nearly as much as last season if not more. Deleting Quant is not relevant for Unique chasing MFers, deleting Quant was just again deleting possibillities and Fun out of the Game, like deleting juicing Options with sextants or deleting conversions. MFing in a balanced way should normally makes the league life better because after ur first character u can set new goals for example duoing with ur friend or grouping with ur friends with a new build to hunt for better and more rewards. But GGG decides to listen to crybabies more and deleted it without trying to balance it. Now we no FUN left in this case but still broken strats only 0,1 percent of the players can run.
Thank you for killing MF. Truly, I was blinded by the allure of Magic Find, thinking it was the path to greatness. But you, have saved us from the clutches of RNG and the terrible fate of actually having to, you know, find good loot on our own. May your stream be forever blessed with zero RNG, and may your viewers always remember the day you saved Path of Exile from the tyranny of Magic Find.
Build diversity is in the gutter cause they have been overall nerfing players and buffing content since... after Legacy league? Yeah, the highest end of gear kept "powercreeping", but you got to farm your way into it somehow. Most skills feel pathetic and its unfun to sit on a pathetic skill and grind only to remedy its weaknesses. Majority of players don't get to experience the gear "powercreep" anyway as they quit league at 10 or 50 div so "the powercreep" functionally doesn't exist for the majority. Current game is fun for the sweats, for everyone else its a struggle that pigeon holes them into a rigid and boring meta.
Honestly guys, what a waste of time. Who wants to listen to two RUclipsr’s moaning about their audience, which is what this devolved into 🤦♂️ I clicked this vid in the expectation of getting some useful info… nope 😊
Too rewarding? This league is dogshit when it comes to rewards. You wait a few days for a big shment while you can make 20div/h mapping, mr pahjeet here is off his meds
This league is dog shit if you not no lifer (like I am for me it was great, I send few 50mil shipments got 2 mirror shards in one). All other of my friends who play 2-4 hours every day got stuck with lvl 6-8 workers cause no one likes just farm maps for gold all of them tryed some league mechanics or two, and ALL league mechanics give so shit gold, every one just got bored farming it and just leave bank empty and just play game, delve, sanctums, blighted maps
I do find the town funny, as the whole game is about not doing everything but picking and choosing what you want and what works for you. But for some reason, the town should be fully up and running. For your low time friends, they are sinking too much money into town. If you play less, then just do less, I dial my town back to just farmers when I am low playing(weekdays) then on the weekend do I turn on dust/send shipments (I send tiny shipments during week) so maps etc. I only hire good farmers at first, getting them t7 and above was key. Then I got all other parts of my town leveled over time. TLDR: new league mechanic like all poe mechanics, don’t do it all, limit, then profit.
@@SirCanuckelhead You have good points if low time spending players would like to keep town running they could do stuff like that, but many people dont like then they are forced to do daily gold farm to keep town working and still aftert all that at the end of week they will have what one ~5mill shipment? Its way better and not forced to do any other league mechanic.
@@saiyanspirit8199 FOMO is a bitch and something not just gamers need to work on. In the end, poe takes out what you put in. You can not do everything, so only put in what you like so you can get that out of it. If the town gold sink is too much, then you are sinking in too much. Tell your friends that your town is like your passive/atlas tree. While you get to see every single node, you can not select all of them.

hats off to both of you! what a great conversation. serious topics.. GGG should see this. you guys addressed them with chill!!
been following soro since his first couple of videos. the guy makes excellent guides. he used to make budget builds thats what his channel was when he started. still one of the best poe creators on YT like palsteron, subtractem, zizaran and many more!
You both had some mind hitting stuff that you dont find anywhere else!!! Loved the takes about MF especially
I really like these talks. Keep em coming.
Really enjoying these types of videos. Keep them coming
we need more like this!!!
I got my first mirror shard when I decided to finish the port quota challenge. I'm going to continue doing my shipments that way now.
Kinda wild, been playing poe since the start, and this is possibly the most I have ever enjoyed the game.
The problem with builds, I think, is that in most other games, you can find builds that are easily obtainable and end-game viable
Whereas in PoE it feels like you often need to leaguestart off something and then once you have currency, get another uber end game build
I’ve been playing POE a few years now on and off, and I’ve only just now started discerning how to see through the noise.
not true for meta starter builds, a lot of them can scale to ubers
@@JayM928 I think it's less about whether people know about it and more about whether this is FUN. I hate having to cut off entire swathes of content because my build is incapable of doing them properly. I just hate it.
Having to slog through the several hour-long campaign a 2nd or 3rd time to be able to do it is just frustrating. And then you lose all the character power and other stuff that made your character great too.
@@kooshappreciator4773 Sure, but since they're meta, doing so will cost an insane amount, because everyone want the same thing
Yeah it's a hassle. Especially leveling up it's so miserable for me
great discussion! thanks
Yes! Another Palstalk video, with a couple of pals talking 😁
i had a shipment of 1.2 mil with less than a 6% ridk, and pirates stole 2/3rds of it !!!!!!
That thing is juicing t16.
Various atlas strategies and delirium are EASILY scaling red tier maps onto the difficulty of well rolled t17s.
All I can say is hopefully Poisonous Concoction of Bouncing stays forever, it's so fricking GOOD
i miss soros guides please tell him to make more!!! thanks!!!
Pog another pal talk

Our town should be able to sell a portion of our crops and iron to keep gold up
I think the biggest problem is the fact that farming strats that streamers make videos of destroy the price of what it costs to farm that Strat lol we need a way to implement a way that prices don't fluctuate based on views and rather rarity of drop rate
I thank you for the MF change as well :)
Harvest has been 90% of my money. I've sent several shipments of ten mil and only ever gotten divs... And I've sacred orb.
To the reason we (as in youtube viewers) click PoB's and then dont watch the video (at 21:50):
It's definitely not currency or that people just look for currency strats rather than builds.
(unless your expectations are lowered)
Also creative vids OFTEN get overlooked and the most clicked on vids are ALWAYS meta builds, so I think your view on this is skewed by it being 1 month into the league and most people left are experimenting anyways.
What's the correct strategy for shipping..i have not found it rewarding at all
I thank you for speaking against quant as well mr.Palsteron
Conversions are a scarab now noob use the tools and learn or keep crying
I did palsterons TR-totems pathfinder as first build and got 4 voidstones. There was nothing complicated about that build.
lets hope they fix the shipment bug.. lost 2 shipments yesterday they just were empty, all workers still alive, all ressources gone and no rewards... ( just as if they never started an expedition)
How can you reset your Quotas on a Port when it wants 400.000 Petrified Amber? That's my problem
Man was great video until Soro made me remember you got MF removed from the game… well done pal………..
I'm stuck at T16 maps... It might be partially due to me going Cyclone. I want to get the challenges done, but I'm losing hope.
so if i understand right, i should hit quotas as much as possible to unlock new crop requests for extra % they show ?
and then should i over send the crops they want ?
for example, they ask for 1k wheat, should i send 7k regardless since the % bonus applies to all 7k unless the quota is filled ? or the amount over the cap gets reduced anyway ?
I love these videos but I feel like they should be a bit longer actually. 45-60 minutes I think would be the sweet spot.
What is a good build u would say to run on hardcore to do t16 and t17
i was like instant sub...not even subbed xD
I’m still not getting crap from shipping. I’m at like level 7 or 8 town with maxed shipping. Is there some cutoff or minimum where I’m going to see something like divine or mirror shard? If someone discusses this in detail, can you please send a link? Thanks.
Damn. That's hella bad luck. I randomly dump like 2k of each thing and add dust to match (~500k) to kalguur before heading to bed. Usually get at least a div from one of the 3 ships.
@@D4z3D, get 1-2 div with 1mil minimum shipment points
@@D4z3Dcool, I’ll try that, thanks
Might actually be one of the reasons build guides are doing worse as a format, now that you guys brought that up.
what is toxic rain blista ??
In last four years I failed only one league starter. RF. Since that time I always start as RF. :D
He is damn right about potatoe pc's . you damn well need a good pc or play EA totems
Sounds like it is time to switch to HC. If you are already restarting so much and want more of the thrill of the hunt.
bro i'm building a car with instructions. hundreds of divines into fireball but i can't kill t17 map bosses. Farms like a machine but the ST for fireball ignite is hard to balance
Take a shot everytime you hear the word "literally".
I think the time matches pretty well
Build pressure started in 3.15 it's downhill from there.
50 mill gave me 2 mirror shards, 8 div and 2 power runes... 20 mill shipment gave me 8 divs and nothing.
thank you pal for deleting mf, you da best
24:05 : that's a bit of a strawman
the reason for new players to do ubers is to do 40/40 challenges, and they want to do challenges because it's the most commonly understood progression metric in a league because nearly all modern games have something like it
once you're familiar with the game, you aim for many other fun aspects of the game beside completionism
you get plenty of uber completion services in trade chat and noticeboards.. its not because of that. its because a little experienced players are making fun of new players who come in. they portray as if they dont belong here unless they can do ubers
@@devn6568 do you see the time? The point here is not mageblood, is the D/hr.

The inclusion of the currency marketplace cannot be understated.
imagine playing this league without it.
everybody would be swimming in currency but it will be an utter shitshow liquidating it after every session.
the problem imo is that build guides dont bother to explain how to actually make your build function most of the time
like, youre a couple of weeks into the league have made like 20 divs but wtf do you spend it on, and if you already have decent gear, how and where do you learn what you could improve on that gear, should i get a +3 amulet? a better weapon? should i get some damage rings bc my resistances are highly overcapped, should i bother with chaos res? if yes how much
how do you know what the problems are with your current setup
which is not just a problem with the guides but also the game itself, it makes 0 attempt at telling you why you randomly get oneshot
sometimes enemies just seem to be immortal and you can only guess why
degen auras are atrocious and unintuitive
also for some builds its also really weird to explain why people are doing certain things
why are there builds that have an ehp of like 1k and 2billion dps
why do tornado shots just kinda say fuck it, and dont build any survivability aside from maybe a progenesis
who tf uses a squire, isnt that just a roundabout way of using a 2h weapon? if you dont know about influenced support explicits that doesnt make sense, and yea sure thats really high budget but i dont think ive seen that many build guides going into the depth of buildcrafting and how to make your builds take off instead of just being this, okay tier t16 mapper that gets sneezed out of existence by normal maven
still waiting for my kb wand refund
How the f do u get tier X shippers? I got only 1 from 500k gold of rerolls and the rest are tier IX. My 10kk shipment is 20% risk
High quality rerolls and max tier townhall.
Bro has projectile pierce on EA totems noooooo
The league mechanic is OK but for me more of a headache than it is worth - but it is something "new" so I'm fine with it. Affliction I made 11 mirrors so "you will never see anything like this" describing the town is complete hogwash.
i loved mfing cause i felt like playing at the maximum grinding potential , now i can just get to stupid levels of power creep and execute the current maximum grinding potential
as the zombie player i am which means geting 2-3 mirrors worth in week 1 i guess and slamming foward , it changed nothing to me and now its clear gear quant was never an issue
FOMO was
PS i dont really think the average players r loving that much paying 0.5 mirr for their mb i wonder how you grind that playing with 31 kids on your desk and just for 2 hours a day , just saying
Average r/poebuilds post: "What build beats every boss and has 2 million ehp and 5 billion damage and also 300 movespeed?"
Why are you showing video from before the dust change? Most of us know you're just being lazy, but it could be confusing to some.
25:35 where do you think this expectation comes from? Shall I scroll down RUclips at all the thumbnails - “all content Uber awesome build for 10c?”
Honestly, this is probably the second time in the years I’ve been playing that someone has expressed that you need to specialize in things if you have a low budget. Again, most of the videos are “LOOK AT HOW AMAZING THIS BUILD IS!” (Red arrow click-me click me click me…!). Draw in the noobs, set the expectations high, then later on when they can’t pull it off… “well, of course you can’t do that on 2 divines…”
“But your video said…”
“Nah bro… ‘cheap’ means like 50d minimum.”
“Well, now you tell me.”
00:57 "i was insta subbed" not a subscriber.
You can finally play new builds.
They've nerfed shipments into the ground at this point, run mappers unless you can send shipments worth 250 mil. That's my 2 cents...
agree,before the nerf i had every 30 minutes 2 divine +
User error I make so much divs from shipments before and after your just not doing it right
Best totem build is BAMA :P
Shouldn't went longer. Could've listened for a couple more hours at least.

I clicked this vid in the expectation of getting some useful info… nope 😊
