No one will be believe this but I actually did a live fire countermeasures course in the army where we fired M4s out of minivans. We used the side sliding doors though. They were rentals and we had to try to clean all the brass out before turning them back in. I even have video evidence somewhere.
Loving how they show how they clear and unload each gun before moving on. This video gets tons of views; and they do right thing on displaying aspects of firearm safety. Good on you guys!
I've seen guys do the equivalent of this at a public gun range. It is hugely inconvenient because they think they should have the entire rifle range to themselves on a Saturday morning. On your own range, do whatever you want. At a public range, pick a lane and stay in it.

I would personally call in a chemical strike on the building the hostage is in and then blow up the supports so it comes crashing down. After this I would clear each room with a 500 magnum and then finally extract with whatevers left of the hostage.
