    Tom, I watch you guys all the time. There isn't one video I didn't like. If I had you as a teacher years ago , I know there wouldn't be anything I couldn't handle. Thank you so much for putting time on TV and just being a very important person.

    Great stuff! Any hints for a lathed post on the upper level? Thanks! Already working on the bottom post thanks to your other videos.

      Yes, I have a lathed post too that is wobbly. Mine is on the main floor though and not hollowed all the way out like this one is. A video on how to fix that would be great.

    man, i was hoping I could fix mine myself. All those extra tools will cost as much as paying a carpenter! The previous resident "fixed" it with those plastic cable clips hammered into the trim around the newel post. One step better than my previous house where they "fixed" a hole in the floor with expanding foam.

      Yeah but then you can do more projects with the tools you bought. Ok maybe not the extra long drill bit, but hey just keep the receipt and return it right after you're done ;)

    • @GrahamDIY
      @GrahamDIY 5 лет назад

      Audrey Clarke that’s simply not true. Those tools and supplies won’t cost more than $100. Probably a lot less.
      A (good) carpenter will cost more than that.
