Are you saying it has to be accompanied by change of action, or it's not repentance? What if a person changes slowly instead of a quicker pace that you deem legitimate?
repentance is not turn from your sins or turn yr life around that is a work, false repentance is being preached out there, which nullifys grace and frustrates grace.
If ya want to get legal about it (Don Keathley😉) all the “creeds” & or “doctrinal statements” should replace the word, Bible, w/the name, HS. “We Believe the Holy Spirit is the leading, guiding voice of God…” Now wait. Unload! This isn’t my idea, this was Jesus’ definition. Amen

Repentance is a change of mind from unbelief to belief AS WELL AS a change of mind from living in darkness (sin) to living in the light (Jesus).
