This is just a standard issue with all BLU phones. They normally last about 2 years and then the port just gets loose and dies. I have purchased this phone 4 times (dropped the first one in water, and would have given almost anything to have been able to recover the photos on that one), but the other 3 had the same exact issue. The phone itself is decent and not too costly, but you definitely need to back up your data because within 2 years, your phone WILL stop charging due to a loose pin(s) in the charging port.
Next time you end up with an electrical device in water just get some9 good ole alcohol or wd40 and soak it by the way that's what wd means 😊😊water displace 😊

Why would anyone fix a Blu phone. They are disposable pretty much. Everyone of ours broke or malfunctioned within months or near a year. Flagship G90 Pro screen freeze issue. G9 Pro, horrible screen freeze issue. Bold N1 overheated to a point where I think the charging port came loose like this phone. We never dropped the phone , any of them. And we used wireless charging so never stressed the ports. Blu's business model is to sell flashy cheap phones which are junk and sell new ones a year later. Never again. Thanks for the video though.
Thanks a million, I suspect same happened to my wifes Blu G91s pro. She is luckily getting sent a replacement or I'd have a look at the port. Battery symbol flashes gold and it vibrates every 10 seconds or so but wont charge.

You make it look so easy. Every time I try something similar, even with flux, I always have a hard time getting the solder to not bridge two or more of the connectors. Any suggestions?

Xi plus battery from day one. Battery drained fast. Of course it gets worse. It will not charge

Mine too, that's how I found this video from searching. It is turned off charging right now, but wont charge when it is on. I guess I've had it since 2016 so I got my money's worth :)

Nice job, what woukd you do when tou have no schematics? If phone not powering up half the time, i suspect power IC.
Inspect board under a microscope to see if you find anything obvious such as burn marks, holes in components, discoloration etc.. check for a short, use thermal camera if possible. Use power supply to feed voltage to the board and see if power is reaching other areas of the board, lastly change power IC and hope for the best

I should have reset bluvivo 8. Excellent cell. Instead put it through test modes. I believe an app installed from google play ruined the cell.
Should have reset cell pronto.

I have a Blu G9 that I need data Recovery on, maybe you can help me
I just got a SS S9+ and wonder if this is an issue. 2 location the sig. is not ideal I get 3-4 bars on my old SS S7 and only 1-2 bars on my new SS S9+. Also on the SS S9+ with no simm I get 3 -4 bars but with the simm installed I get 1-2 bars. Are either of these indications of issues with the phone?

My phone charges and woks ok except when I let it run down to zero battery the n the lightning batter flashes on gets dim when you try to turn on the phone and it poops out it gets hot while charging I think a new spare battery will fix this turkey 🦃.
