I added the music myself because the video was found without audio! back in the day it was so tough to find these videos lol so I had to make it work to share with everyone
I love her new routine, especially the floor music. She is one of the few US gymnasts who truly perform well with dance elements (upgraded with a ferrari!), together with good execution. Think she is slowly picking up the tumbling difficulty. So glad to see her back!
Mammal turns aren't a thing. As for Memel turns, true she's the only one with him but Gabbys Memel turns aren't flexible enough. Kyla is doing a Ferrari and every single us gymnast except skinner has a switch ring.
I meant to say that Gabby doesn't reach the ring on the Ferrari and flexibility on that skill because Gabby only did a split with her head thrown back, not the ring
Even though im not a huge gabby fan, i have to say GREAT COMEBACK, you can tell she was working her butt on the gym to prove to everyone that she is still on ! Great to see. Also i like her body type, reminds me a bit of produnova, muscular but rather lean, than over-musculed like simone or raisman. Great to see a comeback from her
Not bad for at all for the first time doing this new routine! But I'm not that crazy with the music as I was with the pervious one but maybe once she's used it she'll bring the music to the floor . Best wishes in your future Gabby and keep up the good work!
I love that everyone can already call the Rio Team over a year out...a lot can happen between when this video was filmed to even Classics of next year (when you can actually start to begin to consider who's a contender). Love Ashton but I her body doesn't seem to handle the rigours of elite gymnastics. There's no way Marta takes her just because of one event- unless she can win gold (like Maroney). Gabby wasn't in the conversation at this point before London...and look what happened. She has a lot of time to work upgrades- considering her last quad, she surely understands the importance of pacing and timing. So, everybody relax and enjoy the ride. And as for Komova...shoulda, coulda, woulda.
People are commenting about how people are commenting about how gabby is being underrated and being judged too quickly but at this point, komovas the one being underrated. Komova has overcome everything within the past year and is already back in the all around and stronger, unless the interviews being done are all fake. She has 6.3 on beam, 6.6 bars, a DTY. I don't know about floor but she has one so to count her out is ridiculous. Komova was beat up in 2011, barely got her routines together by worlds and was robbed of gold. ( Komova was judged way too harshly on floor) then Komova had issues in 2012 and then slipped away from gold ever so slightly to gabby who may have performed better on the day, but was gifted by komovas vault mistake that would've won gold otherwise and jordyn wieners'so misfortune right before the games. I'm not bringing up London to show how Komova used to be the best, but how events from the last quad showed that no one is out of,the game. Not gabby, not Komova.
Timing is everything...living in the past on what could've or should've happened doesn't change the results. Glad Komova is back at it! Good luck to all the girls that are killin' it for their dreams to come true.
And BTW this video is of Gabby...maybe your feelings of Komova being underrated would be accurate if this was a video of Komova and people kept bringing up Gabby. Food for thought...
My comments were in response to several previous comments- non that were directed towards you. But out of everything I originally posted you chose to focus on the last 6. You clearly got out of my comment what you wanted.
Norah Flatley isn't going to make a difference I'm sorry....to weak of floor and vault....Nia Dennia and Baille Key are the new seniors making a difference
That's 100% untrue aliya is more popular than gabby in her home country than gabby is in hers, svetlana khorkina, olga Korbut and Nadia Comsneci are household names worldwide, the whole Romanian team are equivalent to basketball players, baseball players and football players in the U.S. gabby is obviously not the most richest or the most popular. Idiot
Zyxcba those gymnast you mentioned are only known withthin their own countries like you said. Nadia, Olga and Mary lou are no longer competing gymnast so they were not apart of my statement.
Aliya, Larissa iordache and Catalina Ponor are all extremely famous and celebrated in their countries. Gabby is known in the U.S. Very well but in Russia and Romania people outside of gymnastics have already started to forget her. The same goes for aliya, Larissa and Catalina in the U.S but are very famous in their countries still. Basically gabby has no more fame or popularity than aliya or Larissa. I mean sure you could say that gabby is the all around champion but aliya is the most decorated athlete outside of swimming.
Jd L Hypothetically speaking if she adds in the 1.5 to triple full, she doesn't need a double double. Yes it's still one tenth less than the double double in total, but Gabby gives absolutely nothing away on that pass. Simone gives away at least one tenth on landings, and nearly every other gymnast gives away more because their chest is down - including Biles when she performs it as her 3rd pass. A whip whip to an E skill would boost the D score by another 2 tenths, and she can probably execute on this.
***** Totally. The advantage that Simone has is her passes are ridiculously difficult so even if she gives up tenths for landings her difficulty score is still a lot to go against
Jd L lol of course you wouldnt, as it seems you look for every opportunity to throw shade!! Maybe you should step out the shade and watch because she performs her full in effortlessly. As a coach I can see the transiton easily what experience do you speak from?
Jd L and you're either A. pessimist or B. Hater. You havent said anything positive about her return or performance. Not even the fact that she went out and hit 4 for 4 without any major errors. However You're entitled to your opinion no matter how skewed I think it is.
Why is it that on every gym video a conversation or comment devolves into an argument about who should have won 2011 worlds? Regardless of what 'side' you're on, the fact of the matter remains is that gymnastics is a subjective sport and it's pointless arguing about something that happened FOUR years ago.
I see so many comments about how wonderful this floor music is....I'm just not feeling it. Too many changes, too disconnected. Also, as far as her routine goes, not feeling it either. I loved her back in 2012....not so much right now, and though there's still time before next Olympics, I don't foresee her making it simply because of how many other super talented US gymnasts there are that she'll be "fighting" against, and it's always harder to make a 2nd Olympics (at least in the US with gymnastics).
Her style is scrappy.... Shes a very consistent gymnast and Im sorry to say this, but her winning the AA at London was one very good competition in an otherwise mediocre (by elite standards) career.
She's not consistent. At London she messed up 3 routines:floor, beam and bars in qualifying and event finals. The TF and AA were her only hit competitions. Throughout 2012 the only thing consistent for her was uneven bars. Marta even said in an interview later that had gabby not placed top 2 at trials, she would've left gabby at home because of her inconsistency. 2011 was a nightmare year for gabby, she was lucky that the top athletes were injured.
Zyxcba shes more consistent then komova who also messed up 4 routines. Floor prelims vault AA, bars and beam EF.. 2011 worlds fall on beam TF, fall on floor TF fall on Beam EF and a thousand lil mistakes in AA..How many times Gabby fell at worlds 0
I'm not saying who's more consistent than another but gabby is inconsistent, and at worlds and Olympics uneven bars event finals she lost up to 9 tenths for losing swing and d score deductions which is close to a fall and her floor mistake at Olympic qualifying was more than a fall, because she took giant steps as well as out of bounds.
She was consistent enough to win the American Cup, Olympic Trials, the only gymnast to compete all 4 in TF and win the Olympics...What did Komova win other then the youth festival where she unfortunately peaked?
Komova won Russian nationals, Russian cup, a bunch of titles in all around and event finals at FIG events throughout her entire international career both junior and senior, robbed of gold at worlds, and coming close to Olympic gold with a half point deduction or more on vault. Besides I didn't even bring up Komova in the first place which doesn't make it relevant to my comment, and neither gymnasts is consistent so it doesn't matter. martha didn't even technically select gabby, the USAG Olympic selection policies did. Martha said that if gabby had placed 3rd at trials or lower gabby wouldn't go to London. Komova did not peak yet her coach said even after all those injuries Komova has not peaked. Which is huge because she's the second most talented gymnast to biles and more complete than all the gymnasts in the world.
I really wish she'd kept this floor music for Rio!
I love her floor music. In addition, this is a much better routine from start to finish.
BEAUTIFULL LOVELY GABBY!!!!!! SHE'S A BLACK GODDES
The audio is really good. Like it wasn’t recorded from the auditorium
I added the music myself because the video was found without audio! back in the day it was so tough to find these videos lol so I had to make it work to share with everyone
Nice!

xiaomianyang1234 Agree!

I take back what I said on Gabbys flexibility on Memel turn
I meant to say that Gabby doesn't reach the ring on the Ferrari and flexibility on that skill because Gabby only did a split with her head thrown back, not the ring
Jd L her debut was 10× better than komova!!
So many talented ladies reminds me of the 92-96 cycle had tons of girls to pick from, lots of heartbreaks at trials
Her tumbling is sooo ready for upgrades. Good job on posting this and not getting it taken down.
Great to see a comeback from her
this music and floor routine is way better than what she has now
Yay Gabby is looking good!!!!
Yassss thank you so much for uploading this 🙈 please upload more 😜
im really loving her new floor music :D
love her leaps 🔥
This was good! She should be really proud.
So awsome🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
Gabby's leaps are goals
does anyone know where I can find more videos of jesolo 2015 ive been looking all over but these were the only ones i could find. anything helps!
Not bad for at all for the first time doing this new routine! But I'm not that crazy with the music as I was with the pervious one but maybe once she's used it she'll bring the music to the floor . Best wishes in your future Gabby and keep up the good work!

You brought up Komova in the first place and I quote directly, "as for Komova...shoulda,coulda,woulda."
My comments were in response to several previous comments- non that were directed towards you. But out of everything I originally posted you chose to focus on the last 6. You clearly got out of my comment what you wanted.
more diff for worlds please!
P&G championships r gonna be so interesting this year!
tREXrules27 oh yeah with ballie key and norah flatley as seniors
Norah is not a senior.
Zyxcba she's going to be a senior this year
No she's gonna be a senior next year. Look it up if you need to.
Norah Flatley isn't going to make a difference I'm sorry....to weak of floor and vault....Nia Dennia and Baille Key are the new seniors making a difference
what happens to her hair???????????????
The Richest most popular gymnast on the planet Gabrielle Douglas
That's 100% untrue aliya is more popular than gabby in her home country than gabby is in hers, svetlana khorkina, olga Korbut and Nadia Comsneci are household names worldwide, the whole Romanian team are equivalent to basketball players, baseball players and football players in the U.S. gabby is obviously not the most richest or the most popular. Zyxcba When Aliya has her face on a box of cereal. Or Catalina or Larissa have a Nike commercial in China holla!!!! *drops mike*
So you need a cardboard box and a pair of shoes to be known? Advertismsents aren't everything.
Gabby rumored passes double double, whip whip Arabian dble, triple full, full in
Jd L Hypothetically speaking if she adds in the 1.5 to triple full, she doesn't need a double double. Jd L really?? her full in looks so easy, she barely touches her legs and drops out of it.
Jd L lol of course you wouldnt, as it seems you look for every opportunity to throw shade!! Maybe you should step out the shade and watch because she performs her full in effortlessly. As a coach I can see the transiton easily what experience do you speak from?

At least the LA LA LA song is gone :D
Those routines with the easy double tuck in the end are sad :-(

Like the music. She needs to push those shoulders done in her double leg pirouette

Great routine except she needs to work on centering all of her turns and turning leaps.
THAT'S NOT GABBY SHE HAS MUSLES IN HER LEG 😤
Her style is scrappy.... Shes a very consistent gymnast and Im sorry to say this, but her winning the AA at London was one very good competition in an otherwise mediocre (by elite standards) career.
