I literally learned how to play lead within that time, though I'm still at an intermediate stage, and besides Google Images, various RUclips videos, and GuitarZoom being the reason for my progress, I thank my neighbor who I still jam with to this day for teaching me. Even while playing, I kinda fiddled around with the pentatonic scale to generate certain chords that sounded good to me, along with barring certain sections like an A chord to get that Hendrix like sound.
Oh hey your hella close to memorizing yui's solo! For a 2 month player its pretty impressive! After you memorize the chords and when you can glide through chords you should work on the strumming, which i found is the hardest part of the progression
Pretty good. Id say if you wanna improve strumming, learn rhcp riffs such as cant stop with muting, which are pretty hard. Your chord transitions sre good, and if you want to improve your solos, id recommend using metronome while practicing, starting with lower bpm and making your way to higher. Other than that, you would want to focus on picking. Learn alternate picking and practice picking accuracy, itll help you a lot. These are the main things you should focus on. Other than that, you could also learn fingerstyle, used in various song (eg- blackbird by beatles, dust knthe wind by kansas etc.). So here's a list of songs to help you with that- 1. Cant stop - red hot chilli peppers (focus ln rhythmic strumming and muting) 2. Snow - red hot chilli peppers (picking accuracy and speed, and improvement in hammer ons and pulls offs) 3. Sweer child o' Mine - guns n' roses (picking accuracy) 4. Comfortably numb's solos - pink Floyd (reletively not that hard if you've manged to play the above) Some extras which are easy and popular 1. Crazy Train - Ozzy osbourne 2. .... (I cant remember any) Overall good luck, and most importantly *HAVE FUN*
Bar chords at 2 months is very impressive! If I may ask, how many hours a day are you practicing? I’ve been playing for about 2 years now but would love to hear your strategies
Start slower, try to focus on accuracy first, not speed, then slowly increase your speed while maintaining that accuracy. Also use a metronome. But man this is impressive for 2 months, hell yeah
Bro you play so good for 2 months
You have your guitar tuned, unlike most begginers, you are already a pro for me.
I just stumbled upon you, and damn, this is actually sick. That's a lot of progress for 2 months imo, congrats!
Very good man, It so epic!!!
