When I set up my monthly gratitude page every month (where I write one thing each day that I'm grateful for), I split the page down the middle and on the other side I'll write one self-care/self-love thing I did that day and colour code it according to which love language it falls under. This has two functions: firstly, so I can consciously do something, no matter how simple, as an act of self-love that day even if it gets to bedtime and I've completely forgotten and so I make the effort to sit and read for a bit, or put on some body moisturiser or meditate etc.! The second function is that it reminds me, on days when I feel like the last thing I want to do is take conscious steps to look after myself, let alone LOVE myself, that even the smallest thing such as having my coffee in bed, washing my hair or stepping outside of my flat for a few minutes for some fresh air ABSOLUTELY COUNTS as taking care of myself so I can give myself a pat on the back no matter how seemingly insignificant that day's thing was! I hope that made sense 🤣 It's become a necessity for any monthly set up I do and it's so nice to read down the list at the end of the month! x

I love that self-care in color coded way, that's so cool to keep track of little things!

@@prexytheartist Thank you! I love looking back at all the small things I did to love and take care of myself at the end of each month, even on days when I thought I didn't do the greatest job at tending to myself!

Because of some health issues my hubby has really been great about doing more than his share. I’m going to start dividing my self care page to include a hubs care section. Just a reminder to do some extra small things for him.

One yearly spread I use and love is my incredibly intentional “did I use this?” spread. At the end of each month, I flip through and see if I’m actually using all the things I put in my journal. Drawing out pretty spreads are fun but I like to be able to see if I’m actually using things the way I intended when I set them up. This helps me track which spreads I like and which ones I don’t.
I list all the trackers and spreads I set up, adding new ones to the list if needed. Across the top, I have the month initial. At the end of the month, I color in each spread I used completely. The box gets half a color if I didn’t make it through the entire month. It helps me be more intentional with my time and energy.

Ah. I have 4 major goals for this year, broken down into actionable steps. Using that productivity chart with the different colored categories could be a great way to make sure I’m prioritizing those small steps regularly. 🤔

Thank you for this video, this gave some ideas again to my next monthly setup. I usually use a calendar spread, and a note and ‘next month to buy’ section, as I always realize in the middle of the month that I need to remember to buy or do something. Sure I could use the future log for this, but there I put dates and events. My monthly setup always contains a physical check page as I have some ortopedic problems, so there I check my symptoms and can report it to the doctor next time. The next pages usually are the shopping list and orders and other financials, where I can collect the items, stuffs I need to by in the month.
