I bought this from Amazon for $60 and it just arrived today. Your review was really detailed and covered all of the major selling points. Thank you for confirming what I already thought, which is this is a really nice set of clippers!
Just received mine and also had the older model that lasted 15+ years. Good to know the old guides fit the new model. I am anxious to use the new cordless model knowing you had a good experience with it.
is the battery replaceable ? the 5 star cordless model is really easy to replaced, just remove the front cover and unplug the old battery, hope this one is the same
Great video, I own one as well. Can't help but feel mine makes too much noise, any idea on how to reduce the noise? it doesn't have that screw you can turn like other traditional clippers.
Thanks for the review! Do you know if this model is dual voltage? I'm thinking of buying one on Amazon in the U.S. for my son to use while he's in Cote d'Ivoire for two years, but we're on 110v in the U.S. and I wonder if it will work there on 220v--or if he'd need a voltage converter to charge it.
@@adam1294hey, I bought this kit. it’s decent for beard fades. I’ll be honest I haven’t really used it for my actual hair. I will say that the lever is quite weak and with enough pressure on the blade, the lever will switch positions on its own. this could just need re-tightening but I bought a new pair of clippers/trimmers anyways
Thanks for the review. Probably the best review of any product I’ve seen on RUclips.

@@MinisterGabe1yes it does, we use them in Lesotho here. They are very good, fast, good blending and fades
Thank you, great review, the two or three day shave look is ideal for us baby faces
