I just put in a few applications for CBP. I've been contemplating putting in one for the FBI, but the application says to expect a minimum of 50 hour work weeks. Having worked a position that worked 60-80 hour work weeks, it makes having a work/life balance quite stressful. Would you say you worked at least an average of 50 hour work weeks throughout your agency career?
FBI is on-call as well. You will be working 24/7 mostly. Wouldn’t expect a work-life balance doing anything in law enforcement until years later in your career.
