I'm stunned, what a transformation!!! Enfield, you need to be getting in touch with this chap, he's designing your next model and you need him on board
It looks great, that engine looks so muscular and aggressive now that it's exposed and it stands out against all the black. I love that tank but I'm starting to think that the best look would be all black with the brushed and polished metals highlighted against the black background .
I don't agree, I really like what's been done but personally would have left the silencers down low on the bike where they cover the engine. Rest of the bike looks fantastic, really like the front and rear end detail. I get that tec are going for a scrambler look but I just reckon some nice cone silencers suit this particular bike better.
DON'T YOU GO MESSIN' WITH THAT RED! I just bought this same bike in southern California. First one sold in the central valley. I'm thinking stock is just fine. I'm watching your videos on this, and I think I see a couple of places you might make a bit of money off of me. That bike is looking amazing! That red and black tank (same as mine) is a focal point for the bike from stock to this beast you've created. It looks fantastic! Great series of videos. Thanks for sharing them and cheers, from across the pond, and the fruited plains.
Once you're happy with it you should consider making this into a conversion kit, it looks quite nicer than the Street Scrambler. Great vids look forward to seeing Part 5.
Hi We are already looking at making some of these parts as kits and you can do it all together in one go or just fit selected parts of the conversion. some items already on our web store with more arriving every week see www.tecbikeparts.com
This is coming out to be the best modded Interceptor. Congratulations for the build. Great work. You're right, I too believe that this would have sold more that GT 650 if Royal Enfield would ever release this. You guys are the best. 👍👍👍👍👍
@@georgemilburn6213 And me, it's got that classic old school look, hope you provide a full list of parts used when finished - like the seat that matches your rack unless you are going to supply yourselves as part of a set of kits.
@@everydayphotography Hi paul If we get the interest we will be making the seat/rack combo as a kit with correct fittings to use standard seat lock Price around £200 for the full kit
Looks great from all angles, better than the Triumph Scrambler. Beautifully compact, engine and casings look period correct. No "eyesore" radiator to spoil the profile. I bet it's much lighter and handles better too! Instead of the small sump guard currently on the bike you could fabricate a larger underbelly bash plate that wraps around the frame rails and covers the cases???
Re tank - Ravishing Red is agruably the best of the Interceptor's colour-ways and it would be a pity to cover it up. How about leaving it as it is, but with black added to the bottom seam as demonstrated in an earlier video?
This Royal Enfield is a home run. The fact that they are so reasonably priced opens the door to customization. The stock bike is such a good overall platform but now the horizons are opening up. Imagine ... a bike YOU can work on and modify without needing a master mechanic degree - this opens up motorcycling to the masses not the few rich. High tech bikes are race bikes but as they age they become expensive to fix and thus disposable. You won't throw away this Royal Enfield - you will rebuild it.
Wow that look amazing. After seeing this now i am considering buying a RE 650.I think the chrome tank would look great with this configuration. Cant wait for part 5
This looks incredible. I took an Interceptor out for a test ride the other day, and loved every minute of it. First promo pic I saw of it, I just said to myself "this would look badass with some Scramblification!" and you have nailed the aesthetic I envisioned. Great work!
The stock tank color looks the best and is actually the main highlight apart from the huge engine and the exhaust. If you really want to go far the colors you can vinyl wrap it, thus keeping your ideology of going back to stock anytime. Remove the mods, remove the wrap and you're back to 100% stock.
George i have gone and done it mate ,I've just bought myself a royal enfield !!!!! She is the same as yours (ravishing red ), just waiting for delivery (2 to 3 weeks !!!!) .......right were did i leave my check book ........will be in contact soon for the tracker parts See you soon
WOW, this is exactly what I had in mind, fantastic. Perfect little scrambler look, awesome. Love the headers, and love that rack on the back. You have an eye for motorbike style and design
That looks really sweet. It certainly improves the look of the bike, though i think the silencer could be about 3" longer. Also, i`d like to see a seat that comes down at the side a bit, and almost hides the frame. Apart from that, it looks pretty much there as is. Well done boys.
I liked the bike from first sight. But now...I love it! This is by far the best looking scrambler/streetcracker I've ever seen. I just don't want one, i need one! And don't touch that tank! I love that colour! :-) DNA is probably the best airfilter system on the market. Will be interesting to see the difference!
Love the look it’s taking. I’ve always liked the Triumph but now I much prefer the RE, such a gorgeous bike. Keep up the good work, gotta do a sound test soon 😂 Congratulations for the hard work!
That is absolutely fabulous! That's just how I'd have it. The engine looks fat! Lovely'..I think the silencer you currently have looks the part too. As a Triumph man I'd have this over the street scrambler even with the decrease in power and cc. Keep the colour. love it.. Spot on.👍

I recently ridden interseptor 650 and yes it is gret machine and I seriously looking to have one and definitely want put that exhaust on it because this best looking and minimalistic design.
Holy sh*t! The bike has really been transformed from the original lump. It truly looks the bidneth as they say. I've long admired your talent for digging deep to find the right solutions, but this one imo has been your best job yet. Looking forward to more videos. Cheers from the Great White North!
am a little bit disappointed you didnt start it up. but the frame really does suit what you have done to it. think that would have also made a awesome street tracker as well.
Hi I looked long and hard at a tracker back end and decided it would really have to have a frame Loopectamy to be correct with a tracker look rear. We may do it later or on another bike as we only wanted to do reversible mods on this build.
Personally not a fan of the Scrambler high level exhaust, but the headlight and brackets, seat, rack, rear light are a massive improvement. Looks a real classy bike.
hello, reviewing the videos, part 1, 2, 3 .... and the 4th. It seems to me that the Interceptor has a unique character and presence. I quite liked the size, the length of the seat, giving space to the grill. I hope to leave mine something similar. Greetings from Santiago, Chile.
I like the look of everything that you have done. The front fender is all I could see that needs changed, but you said that is probably the next thing. Like others have said, I definitely would no change the color. I first saw this color combination used like this on the early 90`s Guzzi, I`ve forgotten the model.
