didn't these guys drive 4x4 Thar before? Basically 4 x4 is also RWD only but switches power to front wheel when needed. Suddenly these guys are feeling better driving the RWD car

So many traditional SUVs they have retained and nurtured till now.
Bolero, Thar, Scorpio, XUV ... etc ; have to be made more and more affordable for enthusiasts in the coming days...(they should).
Tatas on the other hand should not have discontinued their Safari storme.
Nothing can beat, Nothing can really beat old school ladder frame affordable SUVs..
Even after a hundred years from now; I will still love traditional old school ladder frame SUVs...!

@@jeevanjose1000 probably that many people bought the 4wd thar for the form factor, ladder frame etc and ends up almost never using it for the 4wd off roading capabilities. When this would have been the better option for most people

Don't do it. Thar looks cool but unless you have another car to use as family car you will regret the decision very quickly. It is not practicle for daily use. I have seen come of guys buying thar after giving into the hype and later sell it to buy something else.
