Hi, I have an autism spectrum diagnosis, and for part of elementary and all of middle school, I attended a school where they used many montessori and waldorf techniques, but as far as I know, it was not labeled as either one. We tried our district school for me for pre-K, Kindergarten, and first (1st) grade, and it just was not right for me. The class sizes were too big, the district really emphasized following directions, which I was not ready to do yet, and the overall curriculum of our local public school just was not right for me. Switching me to a school that follows many montessori and waldorf techniques was the best decision that my parents could've made for my education. There, the teachers and staff would gladly meet me where I was, and we would go from there. They were very focused on feelings, which worked very well for me, as I am also very sensitive.

"Diagnosis" is singular, from a Greek root. "Diagnoses" is the plural :) Many professionals have confusion about this word.
