    Isn't there something about charging caps that once they reach 65percent of their charge they take charge alot slower?
    I'm sure I read that somewhere

      Seems logical caps will not demand more current into them once already charged, or over halfway charged up, similar to a very low charge in battery there will be lots more current being drawn than when battery is near fully charged and when fully charged now currents can still be pumped into battery but battery will just not accept them so is waste of energy plus battery may be damaged from over charging it
      I don't know if these super caps will behave same as smaller electrolytic caps, let's say 1000uf compared to these 80 farad ones. In how fast they charge according to what state of charge they are at but trying to get a handle on it

      It's the backend of shaft a bit of a loose fit inside the ceramic bearing making the knocking sound
      also the magnets so close to the cores they can scrape a bit like at 3:10
      Next time there will be a wider airgap and it should lower the draw a few watts too
