Georgia truly has some majestic and gorgeous hidden gems!!! 😊💯💎✨ It’s astonishing as someone who has lived here most of her life, how many of these I didn’t find out about until my Hubby Tony had told me about them.
For anyone who lives in Georgia or in the South-East, there’s something here for everyone. Go Explore and Adventure! Discover somewhere new, get out in the Great Outdoors, and enjoy this absolutely breathtaking planet we all get the privilege to live on. You won’t regret it! 😊🌎🌲

I think two places that are underrated because they are located between Atlanta, Columbus and Macon are FDR State Park and Sprewell Bluff. They are located in a random stretch of semi-mountainous terrain multiple hours south of the Blue Ridge, with beautiful hiking trails and nice views at both.

I've been to most all of these, but the last ones are near where I live. In Cloudland Canyon, I hiked one of the trails with my wife, (most difficult one but I can't remember the name), and I almost had a heart attack Iliterally... When we arrived back to the car, I could barely walk. We had brought an ice cooler with water, that probably equaled 64 ounces of COLD water. I saw in the car and devoured every single drop. I have since had several heart attacks and sadly, cannot walk but a few feet now.
Regardless, I really enjoyed the hike, as I have all of the countless places my wife and I have gone in the past. I knew from an early age that my health would deterioate to nothing, thus we tried to do as much as possible each weekend, and experienced more in a year, than most do in their lifetimes.
