This experience has reinforced my belief in the phrase "knowledge is power", and I am grateful for the opportunity to continually expand my understanding and skills through your teachings. The most positive place on internet has to be the comment sections of Dr Najeeb's videos. Thank you so so much for loving us so much and constantly enriching out minds with such high quality videos. There is no one like you. May Allah always keep you healthy and motivated. The topic of schizophrenia is very personal to me. My mother has been suffering from it for last 4 decades. I'm grateful to you for covering it with such humility and empathy. Keep us in your Duas. Jazak Allahu khairan!
Dr. Najeeb taught my Sudanese mom when she was studying in Lahore. Now I am a medical student that has never been to Pakistan, yet I know the legend Dr. Najeeb thanks to her. IF you want to study a topic once and for good, this is your go to channel. As a 2nd generation learning from you, the term crystal clear concepts was made by you, and for you Dr. Najeeb, both my mother and I deeply thank you.
I'm so in tune and can't stop watching your lectures. God bless your efforts! You're so mych more valuable than most instructors or professors combined. You have a gift, and you're imparting priceless learning experiences to your followers.
I am a mental health pharmacist, and this video has been incredibly valuable for me. Thank you so much! Your explanation is amazing, I wish you were my lecturer when I was at uni! Your ability to keep us engaged the whole time is a real talent. Is there any chance you could do more psychopharmacology lessons? Such as bipolar disorder, depression and anxiety? Thank you for the fantastic work you do, you are appreciated ♥️
Everybody has copied Dr Najeeb sir teaching and has modified in different style but father of video upload and teaching must be given credit to Dr Najeeb sir

yes dr. najeeb. we know so little about our brains we can only (in a respectful and intelligent way) have theories. this is not as uncommon in medical practice as one might think. i know this from treating people with the behavioral disorder we call addiction, attending addiction medicine conferences, and dealing with the drug reps. in this case the healthcare system and it’s d.s.m.5. unfortunately for the addicted has overcome the constraints of respect and intelligence and just make up things.
If atypical antipsychotics bind loosely to receptors and they gets removed from basal ganglia when there is large surge of dopamine, do they not get removed from limbic system neuron receptors also and then how do they serve their purpose ?
Sir i have a doubt If we inhibit D2 receptors presynaptically then it will release more Dopamine but you said we have to decrease the symptoms of excessive dopamine sir
Sir , i have a q , if D2 recpetor is inhibitory , the dopamine relase will inhibit the neuron itself ,, so how psychosis develop in excessive dopaminergic action !!???
Everyone in the university watches your knowledge from first year to sixth year. I appreciate what you are doing to help the students.
