thank you for posting this, its brilliant and i ordered a back LCD screen i thought was correct and was doing so well until i think I've ordered the wrong screen size so i was just wondering what size or the name of the screen i should by is.
You need to be so careful when getting an LCD. There are so many variations. The best way to make sure you are getting the right on e is to either go to a camera shop or go onto a site like EBay. On EBay, type in the Model Camera you have and add LCD. The camera I show here is a Samsung TL205. You will see the model and serial number sticker on the bottom of the Camera and somewhere on the body as well it is usually printed. Type into the search bar, "Samsung TL205 LCD". This will bring up many different vendors who carry them. I have had a couple of times where I got the wrong screen but the vendor is really good about correcting so you give a good feedback.
hello I have the same dead spot on my LCD screen. now will that black spot come out on the pictures if I printed them out?

The "Dead Spot" is only on the LCD and will not affect the printed product.
I brought the repair screen and everything off eBay but my only dilemma is I can't get the screws to unscrew either they're too tight or rusted plus they are a bit dirty help please
I am not sure o what kind of camera you have. I use precision screwdriver set. If you use the right size tip, you should be able to get the screw out. If it is rusted, put a small drop of oil on the screw and allow it to soak in to loosen the threads. Hopefully this helps. I got the precision screwdriver set on EBay for about $20.
This video good but broke the bar holding the lcd screen on my samsung wb150f, There are some possible pitfalls so beware.
Me too Judith. When that happens, I had to get another main board. I found them available on EBay. Price point anywhere from $12 to $39. Make sure you read all the wording. Reputable EBay'rs will offer replacement or refund if you receive it DOA.
