Do you have any tips on designing torsionally stable wings which won't have any sheeting applied? I'm thinking specifically of WW1 aircraft. Thank you.
You might try running carbon fiber rods diagonally from root to tip. If you have two of them going from the LE of the root to the TE of the tip and vice versa, creating an "X", it would beef it up. This was and is still done on some airplanes using cables. Hopefully, that helps.
Another excellent video - real world problems and solutions. Thank you.
Thanks. It’s what I was looking for when I first started using fusion360, so I thought others would like the info.
Another awesome and informative vid! Thank you!
Thanks! I’ve enjoyed watching your stuff as well. I’ve picked up a trick or two!
