      @@ddxxv well… I replaced my microphone soon after, found out condenser microphones are just plain bad for calls and quick content in general
      Dynamic microphones, in my case the Shure microphone, has been the best change I’ve made. No one hears my keyboard anymore or mouse clicking with some small Nvidia filtering or discord’s built in filtering

    I'm glad I found your video! It appears to have helped resolve some of my audio issues. I have never used NVIDIA Broadcast, but have it installed and configured as you've shown. I already had my Blue Yeti gain set to just below 25%, I still needed to have the Input Gain in GHub set to 100.
    I also tweaked my OBS settings as you've shown and this seems to have improved my audio records already. Thanks for this video; I'll be sure to share it with other content creators I know.

      Only Nvidia Broadcast needs to be open for this to work, LGHub applies settings to the mic and can be closed once complete.

    What do you suggest if I am in the same room as my husband and we game together? I cannot figure out how to get my yeti to not pick up a lot of unnecessary noises like background, keys clicking, tv, my husband talking. It is not loud but loud enough to slightly hear. I would say I have a loud but softish to mid voice and clearly my husbands is deeper. I would say we are about 4-5ft from one another facing different directions. His mic only picks me up when I am extremely loud (different mic) or when his noise gate messes up and automatically changes it. I cannot seem to figure mine out. Now I can say I don't usually use an actual streaming/podcast mic and my Yeti is the first one for me to ever use (tired of the headset one touching my face). I am going to invest in a boom arm stand and I am going to get a foam cover to help suppress some noise, but for now its on my desk in front of me but behind my keyboard which I know the clicks will be louder, but it picked it up when it was above and farther away which in return caused the gate to have to open up to louder noises as it was farther from my face. I am not signal cleanup savvy I do not understand Noise-Gate, High-Pass , Noise Reduction, Compressor, De-Esser, De-Popper, or the Limiter plus all the extra stuff that comes with those when I click the 3 dots next to it. I have tinkered with it enough to get it to only make it slightly pick up the extra noise, but I stream and I do not want to have terrible quality when it comes to my mic. I use Logitech G Hub all my peripherals is Logitech including the Yeti I got (new pink cloud one). My Pro X headset mic we had the sound down perfect where my clicks were almost silent but you couldn't hear anything else in the background. I cannot seem to find anything on how to understand the signal cleanup and the ? by it does not help a beginner when I don't understand dB I know it has to do with sound but I don't know the sound difference between my voice a key click and a person talking on the tv. We have sound panels for the walls if I stick those in between the areas where we are at will that help with it not picking him up? Sorry for the story, but this is driving me nuts. I also do not have NVIDIA as I am an AMD user.

    • @Guape
      @Guape  Год назад

      I have no knowledge of AMD setups as in the software i use is Nvidia. But something that might help is Voicemeter software

    • @pinguincoder
      @pinguincoder 8 месяцев назад

      You got the wrong mic for that honestly. A good microphone can filter out some background noises to a degree but for voices you have no chance. You can decrease your gain to have your mic be less sensible and use Nvidia Broadcast to activate Noise reduction but if he is talking in the background there is no way to block that out unless you are using push to talk.
      Headset Microphones usually have much better noise reduction and filter but also the audio quality is much worse.
      You could try out the razer blackshark v2 though and see if that solves your issues.

    • @Guape

      Logitech G-Hubs provided noise reduction is good if you are just trying to remove small sounds like a keyboard, but for excess background noise Nvidia Broadcast is the way to go.

    This might sound like a stupid question but do I have to have both nvidia broadcast and Logitech ghub enabled on startup? I would assume so for ghub but considering nvidia broadcast has its own input I shouldn’t have to right?

      you only need Nvidia Broadcast enabled on startup, Logitech GHub automatically applies and saves your settings to your mic.

      Yes, the Blue Yeti Pro works with Logitech G-Hub. If you have trouble getting it connected it may be an outdate driver or because the mic isn't connected directly to the pc instead of using a usb hub.
