Loved your show at the Will Rogers in Okc. Come see us again. Love your music, how you play. Great show🎸🎸
Doyle is awesome and a Texan too! Great player!
Thank you!!!
Doyle rules!!!!
Tommy did return for the first round of touring with the Arc Angels...he retired from the road in 2009, but the Angels were playing together well before 2009...
@TheCrystalyne They love him because the amount of notes you play isn't proportional to how good you are. DBII is pure vibe, and if you can't get down with that… then I'm sorry! He's a master of real blues.
Great talent and a nice guy.
So now Doyle's learning left handed guitar as well as playing righty upside down....He just keeps growing as an artist.
funny to hear him say he used a super bass, i picked one of those up a few months ago because im a tool fan and i tell you what, its such an amazing sounding amp but its loudness is unreal. if you wanna overdrive it to get distoration out of it you have to turn it up to about 7 which will blow you away! but its crunch sound is amazing!
Watch his Comfortably Numb solo on the Roger Waters In The Flesh DVD... Its BADASS!
❤
@geoff101001
I own one of Doyle's two super bass amps, the 69' Marshall which he talks about here.. The sound is awesome and when 2 tubes are pulled out, it isnt that eardeafning, but still loud.. I also have a Super Lead reissue, but that one is way to loud, and out plays the super bass byfar volume wise..
LeifJohan sweet, your so lucky
Why did he say that the sunburst is a 1963 strat when in all he other interviews he says it's a 1964??
camthebassist, I met lil' Doyle back in '93, he's a good guy, great guitarist & great singer... I agree with you. So, Neversleeps1979, when is YOUR record coming out? Doyle had his dad, Jimmy, & SRV to learn from, musically and vocally... would you call L. Armstrong or Howlin' Wolf bad singers? I think it's YOU who has bad taste in music. ;P
He's had quite a nice life despite not hitting the big time.
It's so Fucking easy for you too say! So people today arn't allowed to make mistakes anymore??? Instead of critizcing him for the mistakes he's done, you should be influenced about how good and talented he's become.. There a reason why Eric Clapton, Roger Waters, Sheryl Crow ect want's him to produce records & back them live...
Get what, the guys an imposter....
TheCrystalyne
Speak english moron
cant stand this guy's singin voice
Why is everyone in love with this guy...I saw him with Clapton and he sucked. Awful player at the best of time....
Yeah, SRV and Clapton have terrible taste in Guitar players.
TheCrystalyne Wow, do you spend all of your time looking for DB vids to whine about how you don't like him? God this is the 4th video I've seen of your bitchy, whiny little comments, nothing positive, just moaning. We get it you don't like him, fine jog on moaner and find something you do like...Oh and whilst we're critiquing just a heads up but goddamn you're music sucks...HARD!! You might wanna work on that before you bag other people out.
