There wasn't any difference in the voice focus. It didn't sound any different to me I didn't even hear any noise outside.
Same here and I have an amp attached to my laptop with monitor speakers, zero difference.
I had 5 out of 6 enabled (thanks to other videos of yours), the one I missed was Spam calls. Thank you Daniel!
What phone version you have to have to get that option for the spam.

I can easily get to all hidden features but I don't mess with many especially hand gestures. Just natural for me to use my fingers to navigate apps and functions.
I would love more alarm functionality. I know that if I do not want a set alarm to sound I can silence it for that day and it will automatically reset for the next scheduled day. But, I would like to see a way to silence alarms for an extended timeframe, like while on holiday. Just select what date to resume the automatic alarm functions.
Palm swupe is always a hit miss situation,personally like implementation of oneplus (three finger swipe across the screen

Unfortunately some of them like SPAM calls are not available in my country 😢
I use Do Not Disturb and have it set to only allow Contacts to ring through. All other calls goto voicemail.

Great videos! Voice focus should be a feature you can leave on or off and Not have to set it every call. This does not help when driving and using Android Auto. Also very unsafe needed ING to navigate the settings while driving or to setup every call.
Where do you find voice focus?
You don't have to change it every call one you set it on voice focus it stays on it
You should specify all these are available only for new phones, like S23, 24, etc....in old phones we dont have all these....
Makes sense - I have the S22 ultra and there is no 2 finger swipe down difference...
Do you have to have your palm on the screen for that palm swipe? I've had many Samsung phones and not one of them has ever done that palm swipe?

I don't have some of those items in my settings list. No motions and gestures, which would really be neat. Have a 2023 samsung android.

The first 2 features are not available for me. Unless there is another way to find them.

It turns out that of these HIDDEN One UI Features that you've NEVER seen, I'd seen all of them except for (1). Tbh in the video here I couldn't really tell a big different between the two modes, but I'll give them a try, thanks for the tip :)

i do hope Samsung improves Bixby like an ai companion so that in times that I can't use my hand or hold the phone because of some task I can still use my phone for emergencies or important things

But again, a suggestion, show how to access each area, going too quick. Yoh most likely have different levels of users watching, and some might need that little extra road map on how to get to the area you're explaining
On this one , leaving about how the phone can learn your patterns and shut off etc...I had to pause a few times to eventually get there
I have the S23 Ultra, and it's not laid out exactly like you're showing .
Samsung should stop hiding features.. they should be easy to access.. imo

While I agreed, people used to complain that One UI (called Touch Wiz) is too cluttered. Samsung can't win!

They are not hidden. they're easy to access. and youtubers just say hidden features to get the vieweres attention
Also these features are easily found in my opinion
Been using all of them. They are great! The best demo you could give for voice focus is for music. I have used it many times to call my band members and play a guitar peice. The sound of electric guitar is removed by noise cancellation when the voice focus is on. It is hardly heard with voice focus and properly heard with standard setting.
Can you use dark mode when you show the settings locations? This old lady's has a hard time seeing on the white background 😊 Thanks so much for sharing

Weird. I don't see mic focus or scam / spam setting in my call settings 🤷♂️
Voice focus setting only appears when you're in a call.

Pretty much everything you mention is available on all Android phones as standard, but what I dont understand why Samsung would hide what other phones make obvious? But Ill tell my son who uses a Samsung, so thanks.
Sorry mate , all those features are there and yes I use them , but let me tell you my experience, its just not work as it should, even the object erasure is not accurate as many of youtubers show them , or I'm wondering, here in Norway is different samsung?

About the auto restart. Does it skip the SIM PIN code, or would I be unreachable until I notice that the phone has been restarted?
I am a huge Samsung fan, but the thing of security updates destroying phone features and qualities becomes so daunting and unforgivable.
For the second time in a row, the battery got screwed after a security batch update on my S24 ultra. It took them two months to fix the previous problem and now again back to too much power draining.
Off charger in less than 5 mins, it is down to 99%. There is a problem in the throughput management, and dealing with end users issues on the spot.
I am really enjoying the experience of this phone big time and I can accept other issues as there is no phone that can be top notched in all aspects, always subjective to the user. But the thing with the battery is so so so so annoying, especially that it was superb with 8 hours on screen time right in the first month, and out of nowhere down to 5.5 hour to 6
Exactly bro , I agree hundred percent, my s24 ultra goes from 100 to 99 percent in less than 2 minutes, in addition some people claim they achive 2 days or a day and a half of battery life from their s24 ultra and I'm getting crazy about that
I only get 7 hours with lots of stuff turned off
Wait when the next security patch affects your network. I haven't had stable network on my phone since I updated my s22ultra to One U1 6.1. I have to rely on WiFi calling, got no network whatsoever.
@danielkiwanuka6582 have the same issue on s24 ultra here it's been annoying for quite some time ,anyway are you saying with the next patch both battary life and network connection will be improved ?
@rezaariaei I don't think it will be fixed as I have contacted Samsung several times on different platforms, and the solutions they give dont work. I reset the phone but nothing changed. I walked into the samsung repair shop, and they told me I have to replace the signal antenna. This is ridiculous because it's happening to a lot of samsung users.
I have S21 Ultra. Spam protection feature is governed not by Samsung but by ‘Hiya’ .. Is it safe ? I have doubts so didn’t activate it yet.
Hiya is a database of numbers that have been reported as spam & nuisance callers/telemarketers. It's safe.

Mine does not have the "caller id and spam protection" function anywhere in phone --> settings. Allegedly is a csc feature so it is region/carrier dependant. Can anyone tell how to get this function?

They have been had voice focus on galaxy S24 ultra since the phone came out
My Samsung has an issue and only 1 year old. A54 has 2 microphones. The Top mic is used by Bixby and Google voice input. Samsung support app said mic 2, top mic, is bad. Is there an app to switch Bixby + Google to bottom mic??
The problem with the reset during the middle of the night is that if you have a lock on your phone, password, pattern, PIN, YOU HAVE TO UNLOCK THE PHONE TO START THE PHONE! That sucks.

I don't know which version of ui you are using but my S24 ultra doesn't have the second feature "caller ID and spam protection". I am in the US
Most US carriers have their own they want you to use unless you have a Google Pixel phone. Great point.

A little more detail when showing how to get to these
Example, the 1st one...the mic thing
I initially tried finding it, but couldn't.
Then figured out you had to be in Phone mode to access that
Also, the next one, blocking the spam calls etc... I'm in phone mode, and I clicked on the 3 dots/settings
But I don't have that same option you show
And I have the Samsung S23 Ultra, with all recent updates
I have dreams all the time about me playing games and my shots not doing any damage.
Btw samsung is really messing up their update schedule for s24 ultra, especially in Indian subcontinent region. Digging their own grave i guess...
don't think I'd buy a samsung again, my S21 pictures are always blurry... tapping doesn't help
