  • Finally got our golf green extension complete. We built and constructed the green extension according to USGA specifications. I'll also go over the cost i had in material, its a bunch of money to spend on golf.
Let us know how we are doing, email me at: jsflc78@gmail.com

If you're going to fight it sinking anyways it may be fun to have a 2 tier green? Make for another challenge on the green.

The root zone material is slightly cheaper in your area than mine. We run around $45/CY in Central Missouri.

Now everyone should know why golf cost so much. I was working at Sedgefield CC when they did the rebuild. They did not use any fabric in the greens. I was the guy that rolled the greens just before and after seeding.

We would mix the bent seed in Milorganite and use a drop spreader for consistency and ease of spreading.
The Milorganite had a very low burn rate and would act as a starter.
