Haha, well I was in Spennymoor last Monday but never heard of The Grind before, so interested to see what it is like. It looked really lush inside and despite not being a black pudding, beans and tomato fan, have to say that looked amazing! Really well presented, well cooked as well and wow, the ladies toilets....lol! Cheers Alan
@@AlanMETALMAN Thanks for watching Alan and it’s a gem of a place serving quality food and yes well presented and what a coincidence us being in Spennymoor and both parking in Asda if I had know about that desert you had from the Italian I would have called in for that , Catch you in the next one mate .
I'm a new sub mainly because you tasted everything first and didn't feel the need to smother it in brown or red sauce, I live in East Anglia and haven't found a decent black pudding like I got up North, thanks
Hi and thanks for watching and for the sub and I do like to keep the breakfasts as is so people can see exactly what’s on the plate , as for the black pudding im always getting told by our friends north of the border that Stornaway Black pudding is the best ? Cheers Kev
Nice breakfast, Kevin. Every item looked just properly cooked and beautifully presented. And as for the Rocket (its called "Arugula" here in the U.S.A.) because I'm such a miser I would have eaten it first just to get it out of the way. If it was cilantro (fresh coriander) I would have picked it up, gone to The Ladies and flushed it down the bog. Thanks for the upload, Kevin.
@@thaisstone5192 Thanks for watching and for your comments and for educating me about the Rocket , Yes it was a very tasty breakfast and well presented and you made me laugh with your method for getting rid of the coriander , Catch you in the next one Cheers Kev
Morning Kevin, I once had a Ploughman's Lunch. He was furious. Trust that the Butcher didn't mind you taking his breakfast 😊Now on the main event. Was the bubble'n'squeek breadcrumbed? Never seen it presented like that before. Just say No to the ramakin, bloomin' plate filler. All the other ingredients looked lush. Well prepared and served. No salad garnish is ever needed on a breakfast. Personally I can't be doing with Sourdough bread. Plain fried slice, egg on top magic. Again I noticed no hot beverage (tea or coffee) should be a standard with breakfast. Loved the ladies disco lavatory 🚽🎶🎵🎼✨🎈🎊. My thoughts on the name. The Grind, what we face every day.The Daily Grind. Made better by a grand start to the day with a good feed😊😊With all the brilliant places you go to and the fantastic eateries, you should be sponsored by the local tourist board. See you in the next video Allan&Family

This looks good, but for the bubble and squeak which looked processed so that's a no, no! Thinking it looked more like a hash brown, that sausage is the business!
Replace the tomatoes with tinned plum tomatoes(my tastiest type of tomato) and that is my favourite breakfast. I'd pay £12.25 for it, it looks that good!

What difference does it make if the produce is local or not? I'm not likely to hold a conversation with it. (and don't tell me because of 'air miles' because New Zealand lamb is usually cheaper to buy than English)
