love this.. suggest you finish the ends of your joints w/ something to keep them from blowing open later after exposure to new temps, moisture, etc.. awesome level joinery.. would hate to see it deteriorate over time.. lookin' for your next one.. thanks !!

What is the tool that you used to cut the beams, it looks like a skill saw with a special attachment. What is the called?
Phillip Lynch it’s called the prazi beam cutter. Basically a 12” chain saw attachment.

Would you be interested in building the frame of a Timber Frame cottage? I can get the logs milled to size and would you do and teach the notching, please? If you would, that would be great. I live in Blue Lake, Northern California, up close to Oregon. :) Thanks
