Unlike the original Tekken Tag Tournament, the game's sequel features a storyline although it is still not the series canon. Just like last time, it is more of a "dream match", giving fans the opportunity to play as almost every character in the series up to that point, including some of those that had apparently been missing in the main Tekken storyline, in addition to the character roster of Tekken 6. In the story, Heihachi Mishima has developed a rejuvenation serum, which, as it name suggests, has the ability to regress his appearance and power. After consuming it, Heihachi hosts another King of Iron Fist Tournament, sensing powerful challengers who would come to the tournament.

For a spin-off game Leos and Steve's endings are surprisingly cannon, now if only they actually acted upon Leo's ending like how Steve finally got to meet Nina again in T7.... For ONE cutscene.
*_ONE_* cutscene between Steve & Nina was enough to just end the story.
It’s so rushed, just a minute of conversation and boom it’s over.
My only wish was that they expanded on it.
TTT2 characters' ending are way better than T7 endings

@@teleportsaroundyou4629well Tekken 8 has been out since last winter. Sadly we didn’t get to see the 3 together. Probably because Steve was better off with the family that raised him as a real son by blood.
So what I'm guessing is that they're setting up a story arc where Steve and Leo meet each other, since Emma is Leo's mother.
Then they pork right? That's the pattern for Tekken games. Just like when Kazuya "met" Jun!

This and Leo's Ending.
In Tekken 8 Leo has a special voice line when fighting Kazuya. Leo says "Ich werde meine Mutter rächen!" (I will avenge my mother!) so Leo got intelligence about what happened to Emma one way or another.
She IS Leo's mother. Young Steve said "Doctor Kliesen". Doesn't that name ring a bell?
Even T7 very focusing the main story, doesn't mean T7 should trashing side characters ending. That is why many people hate T7 side characters ending. But some of T7 ending like claudio xiaoyu and steve nina going really well.
I love the animation for the shadow boxing during the first dozen seconds.

@Ben Seongwon Nina was pretty much a Guinea pig like Steve. Biologically she is his mother, but his accent and name has nothing to do with her or whoever the sperm donor was.

Nina is Steves mother. He was a test-tube baby so his father is unknown. But as he has the devil gene his father has to be someone of the mishima/kazama clan

No he doesn't have a devil gene! He was an experiment of the Mishima Zaibatsu. If he did have it, he'd be crazy strong!
I think the one who visited steve in his ending was leo but because leo is similar to her mother, steve mistaken it was emma
+Wathana Keth why must she be middleaged. In her ending, she found out about the experimentation that the mishima zaibatsu operated and it involve a kid and her mother. She might start searching for answers by finding that 'kid' which is steve fox

Sorry, your theory is old as snow. Steve is elder on 2 years than Leo. So, that means it was Emma, not Leo.
This whole time I thought the doctor was a disguised Nina to keep an eye on her son and how she kinda looked like in Tekken 2, completely forgetting about Leo's mom. You'd think they would use a different actress to use. Cause it's the same person who voices Nina.

Y'know, some of these endings make it seem like they're actually hints for what could happen in Tekken 7.....
It’s interesting how Leo’s mother is voiced by the same voice for Nina. That flashback where Emma was there for Steve as a child. It almost feels like that was Nina, who didn’t go into cryostesis. Instead she retired as an assassin, just to become a scientist, while having a family with a nice husband. Making her a great mother who cares for her children.
