In this video Tom Randall from The Wide boyz teaches Toby Segar of Storror crack climbing, in the infamous crack cellar. This is in prepartion for Pete Whittaker and Toby's head to head Parkour/Crack Climbing Challenge.
Video 2 will see Toby teach Pete some of the basic Parkour skills needed for the head to head challenge.
Video 3 will be a head to head competition between Pete and Toby to see who can take on the other persons sport the most successfully.

As a climber primarily and only having a recent interest in parkour, can't wait to see you guys trying some cat passes, precision jumps, etc.!

Id say he's the most famous pk guy in the world, he's been in every single proffesion, hes done ninja warrior, climbing, fighting if i remember correctly and in storror he's the guy they call when they want to show something and all the other members can't do it, he's basically an all rounder
I love how Toby called them nuts for doing hand fist stacks off of buildings. This is the same man that launched himself face first like superman over a massive gap into the Rhine, and did a front flip over an 80 meter drop. He's actually the "hold my beer guy" of storror, and he calls them nuts, god i love Toby.

@@chrismang8137 yeah I agree with you. Toby’s probably the strongest climber out of them, but I think each member of Storror has their own strength. All great to watch!
We all know that the stand out member of Storror is Callum Powell's chin! 😂 *Flashback to those hilarious wide angle shots of Callum being weird*
But seriously all the Storror boys are standouts!
@@chrismang8137 Josh stands out for his really crazy, innovative, and intuitive flow, Benj's reverses and 180 pres are notable, Drew has spins in general, Max has pretty impressive commitment among other things, and Callum's legs. O_O 'Nuff said. Anything to do with legs, Callum destroys. As long as it doesn't involve his back, at least. Although, I think we can all agree that Callum's true talent is 'Nexteh Shpoteh.'
I think the beauty of Storror is that they all have a different appeal. All awesome in their own right. For me personally I gravitate to wards Benj for his all-round movements and Toby for his crazy awesome cat pass

After doing some Parkour (second vid in this series), I reckon the comp climbers could actually benefit by doing a few sessions. Definitely some major crossover there for sure. Not sure how much crossover there is between big wall rope soloing and Parkour tho 😅

7b is better than a lot of “boulder bros”. It’s impressive for anyone, especially someone who doesn’t specialize in the discipline or the sport as a whole
He is crazy well-rounded and gifted athlete
He absolutely had to have experience in climbing for this. I refuse to believe there is a single soul on this planet that can smash 7b without prior training.

Doing their own volumes and bouldering walls is certainly a good start, but yeah, it would be cool to see a proper gym version of the cellar some day.
That said, I don't live in the UK and they probably shouldn't open their own gym just because their RUclips subscribers think it would be cool, haha. But it probably would be easier to do crack school classes if you didn't have to say "it's down in my cellar, just watch out for the nails".

He's so good! Lol, he makes it look easy but I still remember when Magnus did his first round in the cellar.
I love the crossover of parkour and climbing and how these people are trying eachothers sports. Just a great atmosphere
It's a really well fitting combination of sports, they both lend strengths to each other.
Toby is a proper climber himself, I've bumped into him at London bouldering gyms quite a few times. Saw him at a Southern Sandstone crag once as well.
Toby is like the most humble person on earth.

The best thing about this is there’s never nothing wrong getting out of your comfort zone and learning a new skill and that’s exactly what Toby did and he delivered

Got in to this channel a while back cuz of Magnus Mitbo and the resulting climbing rabbit hole. Just got in to Storror and went down that rabbit hole. Awesome to see this crossover.
Toby is on the road to becoming the top athlete when it comes to traversal of any kind of landscape without significant tools. Urban, check, do parcour. Mountains, check, some bouldering. Caves and cracks, well, that’s what this is for now.
