It's absurd how more than a thousand dollars of the deck price is solely Modern Horizions cards and 4 copies of The One Ring... if you cut those and the unneeded fetch lands the deck is only around 110 dollars!

And honestly, when you said "Iconic magic art", the first that came to mind is Thoughtseize, even though I had never played with or against it until it was brought to Historic. Some of the comments also say Black Lotus, which I 100% agree with
If your commander is in the graveyard for an instance and then you move it to the command zone could an instant speed spell influence it in the graveyard? Or would leyline of the void exile it....but then it would just go to the command zone from there.
I started Magic at the tail end of New Phyrexia, and then didn't play at all for about 5 years from the end of the Tarkir block until Innistrad Midnight Hunt came out. Some cards I find iconic include bolt, giant growth, Liliana of the Veil, Olivia Voldaren, Blood Artist, Baneslayer Angel, Brainstorm (for some reason), Griselbrand, Snapcaster Mage, Llanowar Elves, some of the infect stuff like Glistener Elf... I played the most during the Innistrad block and was only really a kitchen table player back then, so the cards I considered iconic were what people around me played a lot and considered strong (giant growth is kind of an outlier here)
one ring shouldnt be banned it should be limited 1 and modern should start a restriction list. Been playing since 2003 but have been collecting since Beta. Parents collected TCGs in the 90s when i was little and gave me those cards. I have a tons of overpower cards i hope that the universe beyond borrows art from
Whatever you do, Seth, don't play that leyline deck in a tournament as for multiple games you just kept miss playing. The leyline isn't legendary for one and would massively pump your nyktos to where you could cast storm the festival but kept passing doing nothing. Then mulligan the turn 2 teferi hand against temur rhinos a deck very well known for cascade which teferi completely shuts down. Like seeing you pass with the ability to play leyline for 3 straight turns and then conceding was so painful to watch.
Don't get me wrong, I love your content, but you don't have the practice to play it against the top-level players that will be at the tournament. Play something you know and are confident in.
Seth, nothing wrong in being more of a home based guy... but you should really use your time wisely... and see the world is always a goos use of your time. You do you, bu that's my 2 cents...
I sure wish you would play these more fun modern decks in regular content videos. It's so hard for me to watch the stream because of how slow you play and how much you talk about anything but the game at hand

Seems like the Leyline combo deck could also run Scion of Draco as a backup plan/alternative plan of attack.

Most iconic art...probably something from alpha. Lotus, Bolt...wrath of god IMO not even in the top 10.
