Has anyone else found themselves looking for other movies, series starring the actors featured in this series. I’m in the States, but I’m hooked on watching. Even though the ending is so very sad, I love watching the parts when the Emperor loved Ruyi and treated her well. I know it’s a story based on history and is mostly conjecture on the author’s part, but it’s nice to think that some of the story might be true. I think it’s wonderful that even if Ula-Nara was buried with no special affiliation with Emperor Quianlong (sp?), we ARE speaking her name this many centuries later.
There are a few other historic dramas not with the full cast of them, but in similar veins but definitely have. It was a good series
constantly searching for more i understand
And, just think, if it had not been for the movie that carried her name, his name would only be remembered in some dusty history book packed away in a library somewhere.

@@blaiaa Yes. I happy about that too. I didn't pay attention to World history when I was in school but because of this movie and another movie about the same people, I have really become interested in it, simply because the characters in those two movies are direct opposites of each other. I mean for example Consort Gao, she was highly toxic in the movie Yanzi Palace but she was more pitiful, and believe me, to use the word in the same sentence as her name is stretching the word to it's limits, anyway, as I was saying, the character was so different from the one in Ruyi's Royal Love, that I did some research and that lead me to research other characters. If you haven't seen it, you're in for the ride of your life when you do.

不知道為啥如懿跟甄嬛一樣 都有讓人可以看了又看看了再看的魔力 反倒隔壁棚的延禧攻略就沒有 雖然當下看好看 可是卻沒有再去看他片段的慾望

Yanxi palace is just a different version of the same story. Ruyi is still there, it's just her first name is no longer Ruyi but she keeps her family name.

我也覺得如此
個人覺得，主要是延禧的劇本比較淺，偏偶像劇多一點
而如懿他們的深度比較深
此外，延禧遇到戲中戲的橋段，都以誇式法來演藝，無論是高貴妃的撒嬌來推責、或者袁春望在皇后船上斷髮的橋段，都是故意如此，這應該是刻意如此塑造的
但如懿裡面，即使高貴妃刻意撒嬌，也不會讓人覺得過頭，其他人也都是內心戲居多
更重要的是，延禧裡面，更多的是營造A就是壞人、B就是好人的感覺
但如懿裡面，會看到沒有真正的壞人，即使那些最後壞事做盡的令妃，也會發現她的無奈，及每個人會變成如此的轉折
深淺真的差太多了，還有用詞上，如懿也比較講究
這不完全是演員的問題，而是整體呈現的效果
个人觉得比这甄嬛传好看
