- Hey Beauties! This video is Part 3 of my Beauty Room from Scratch Series. This video wasn't meant to be a Get Ready with Me but it turned into one because I've been nonstop busy getting the studio ready to open. So before I ran to Ikea, I wanted to give you the inside scoop to what it really takes to open up your own salon. Part 3 we will talk about how to attract clients to your salon using social media and other platforms before you open. We'll discuss how much I plan to spend on my beauty room along with how I'm budgeting that money. I give you a specific list of what you'll need to prepare for. I hope this is helpful! Even though this was a quick and broad list it hit key points and was super helpful. I did not know you needed insurance to cover your butt if someone had a bad reaction to a service and that you can write off all expenses on your taxes as a self employed person. Thank you !

I commend you. As a single parent of 2, i had to sacrifice a lot to go to esthetician school. Waking my children up at 5:30-6am to be at daycare when it opens to beat Atlanta traffic most days. But it was worth it in the end.❤️

I love your makeup! 💛 Also, I don't know if you've ever answered this question or if you will see this. But I have a few questions. What do you think are some pros and cons of owning your own place vs working at another spa? Also, do you think shy estis can make it in the industry? Just having been in the industry for a while now, and with your experience.
I would advise work at a day spa for a few months to a year gain experience, and build your brand in the meantime... There is alot you can while working with and for other people.. 😁
