If it's just the base XLT it just has 6 standard speakers with no subwoofer. With the upgraded system the subwoofer would be in the trunk. If those didn't work you'll have to book it in to get serviced, it could be a module issue
@@CarsWithSteve on the screen itself. the home screen of the radio when the compass is displayed. the two arrows pointing up and down in the top right hand corner. thanks!
Hey Mireya! Factory navigation is an add on option on the XLT trim of the Explorer! If your vehicle is equipped with navigation it would be the 3rd button on the bottom of the screen. If your Explorer doesn't have factory navigation you can also use Android Auto/Apple Car Play in order to use Google/Apple maps or Waze!
In Canada the XLT is the base - in the US there's one trim that's lower. Having said that wireless charging is only available on the Limited trim level and up. The base and XLT do not have it as an option
@@penseale You're welcome! There are some wireless charging pads you could add in aftermarket - just need to plug it into your USB port and you're good to go
You mention you can share the screen from your phones map to the explorers screen, but how do you do that?
Great question! I'm working on some videos to address that. Should have something out over the next few weeks
Is it carplay mode.

What does the up/down arrow in the right hand corner of the radio mean? Thanks!
Buttons on the screen itself or the metallic ones just underneath between the volume and tuning rockers?

Ah, that ones a data connection indicator letting you know that vehicle data sharing is on
Where is the navigation?

Is the XLT the base model? Does the XLT have the charging pad capability? If so how do you activate it?
