I bought prestige 1.5 petrol in April 2022 .. I am very satisfied with the car and variant .. review is absolutely correct about pros .. In delhi city it gives mileage of 12 kmpl and highway around 17kmpl and that’s what I was expecting. So no complaint .
I dont know about safety rating but once I was coming from Delhi to jaipur at early morning 3 am and all of sudden I got crashed with divider my front of car got completely crashed but not even single scratch I got. Even I called on SOS of Kia and got helped in within 30 mins. High recommend car

Guys I have top variant (Diesel Auto), In city it gives 16kmpl and on highway it gives 20kmpl - if crusing speed is 100kmph or higher. If you can drive slower on highway at around 70- 75kmph then it gives phenomenal 24-25kmpl. I also did a 110km short test once at 65kmph speed that time it delivered 32kmpl. So fuel efficiency is directly linked to cruise speed. I mostly drive at 100kmph on highways. Top speed clocked was 171 kmph at Lucknow Agra Expressway. And yes I am one of the first buyer in the country got it in march, booked on day 1 of launch. I travelled in it from north to east India on 16 days road trip in this car. It was comfortable. Already crossed 16000km+ in this car and there are absolutely no problems except we got a scratch on it due to some land slides in the himalayas.
Sir how is safety feature in Kia carens ? I am more inclined on Tata Nexon since it got 5 star NCAP rating... but family needs are more that of 7 seater and Tata safari is slightly out of budget.

Just drive sensibly with all passengers buckled up with seat-belts and hope you don’t need the test of airbags and build quality. Even a 5 star car like a Mercedes couldn’t save Cyrus Mistry, Rishab Pant also got severely injured due to over speeding. So this 5 star NCAP rating is no guarantee of safety. It all depends on how you drive and follow traffic rules and safety measures. Another safety measure is to go for automatic variant as you will have both hands on steering wheel (plus no mobile phone usage or driving aggressively which cause 99% of the accidents). If Indian drivers could be more sensible on road so many lives could have been saved.

Just drive sensibly with all passengers buckled up with seat-belts and hope you don’t need the test of airbags and build quality. Even a 5 star car like a Mercedes couldn’t save Cyrus Mistry, Rishab Pant also got severely injured due to over speeding. So this 5 star NCAP rating is no guarantee of safety. It all depends on how you drive and follow traffic rules and safety measures. Another safety measure is to go for automatic variant as you will have both hands on steering wheel (plus no mobile phone usage or driving aggressively which cause 99% of the accidents). If Indian drivers could be more sensible on road so many lives could have been saved.

@@Eltonoconnor bro at 64kmph A cabin has collapsed, I am speaking about just @ 80kmph, this car's driver will not survive, not hater, in fact this is the only 7 seater under 20L with proper boot space and 3 row space ticks all boxes except the most crucial cabin integrity.

But then again, the sad thing about India is either safety is compromised for features, or safety is good, like tata, but lacks a lot of features. And the inbetween ground is hard to come-by. Infact I was looking for something in between, and ended up booking the Taigun.
@@Eltonoconnor exactly, the older gen scorpio's A cabin used to collapse, looked like a strong SUV but people used to die in crash....Mahindra has come a long way making safest cars in India....I was all about to book turbo dct carens but stopped after seeing gncap, if you see ertiga(but weaker engine) with same 3star rating has intact A cabin.
