in addition to the usual great information, i wanted to applaud the editing done on the video. it felt very tasteful. thank you for a great start to my day, im going to try to learn this for my great grandmother
Where can I get the book

Great stuff as always. The Real Book changes are simply 'generically modified' to facilitate blowing at jam sessions or on gigs and casuals where people sit in or are not very familiar with the tune. Other times folks say they are bad changes because they don't voice the changes specifically enough. The most common variance is the use of II half dim. instead of IV-6. Always good to learn the original. Tx.
So nice Tony! I had to slow down the video to see what you were doing, it is so magical!
Great lesson as usual, the explanation of chord choices and use of the Berkley chart (i refer to it often) for extensions etc makes learning this tune a real pleasure.
That was so beautiful! So glad ur showing us the Berklee voicing because I’m a student there now so it really helps!
Thank you, Tony! I appreciate all you share. I learn so much from you!
Thank you, Tony. There is so much in this, I really don’t know where to start. I didn’t know the song either so thanks again.❤
Tony, very clearly explained and the song sounds great with both arrangements. 👍🏻
Hi Tony, alwAys a pleasant to hear you playing a beautiful song...many thanks 🙏🎉❤,,🐦
Well, there's another beautiful song to add to my "must learn" list! So many songs, so little time.
I love that Sammy Cahn book. Thank you for helping me along with this song. I am not very good at playing lead sheets and figuring out chord charts yet. But as I listen to you here I think this video will help. I do okay with the book with the whole score in it. I am diligently working on the last page of " all my tomorrows" which is still in progress. the fact that it is a slow song if very helpful for me as it allows me to look ahead and prepare. I need to play it 50 more times to reach 100. Hahahha!
I did, ( after many hours!) figure out "Ain't Misbehaving" with your video near my piano. Thanks again, and I will be taking notes help me be successful at lead sheets..
Eres grande, Tony! 🙏
Thank you for this, Tony. Working on it now.
This is great!🎹😎👏🇧🇷
Thank you, Tony. That's a nice song. 🙂
More of these videos!
Thanks for this awesome class!
Muy buen trabajo Tony, alumbras mucho sobre el tema armónico, por favor haz otro tutorial , te sigo. Gracias desde Argentina
😅😅love you always
Thanks
Nice
Why a Cm6 besides it sounds good? Its like an F9 a tritone away from the B7 or a minor 3rd up from the 2m.. or what else its a D7 with good colors a sharp 9 and melody 13..I want to say its function should be a V because a 2/5... D7#9/C? Less of a mouthful to say Cm6
👍
Real book means wrong harmonies.
