We are at 26 with a real feel of 15. My husband went out earlier and when he came back, he said it's going to be bad out there (road conditions) we are getting a mix of sleet and snow.
I make a version of that last Mexican casserole with green pepper, onion, sliced black olives, corn, spanish rice, taco meat, petite diced tomatoes, cheddar cheese soup + fiesta nacho cheese soup / milk TONs of sharp cheddar cheese in each layer and instead of tortillas I use crushed Doritos in each layer; the top is a single layer of tater tots. When it comes out of the over cover with more cheese and put back in over about 4 minutes until the cheese melts. Worth the time!!!!

I’ve never made the casserole with fries, only tater tots. This looks like a version to try! It looks so comforting. And I love Mexican casseroles but would leave off the beans entirely because they’re not my favorite. I think it will still taste good

I'm going to have to try the corn dog one and the fettuccine one and the french fry one. I'm not a fan of Mexican food so I'll either change that one up or skip it. This was a very timely video with all the cold temperatures coming in . They could all be made ahead and warmed up on a fire pit if people lose power.
The Mexican Pizza…. Have you tried the Mixla tortillas from HEB in n this? They are fantastic! 1/2 flour, 1/2 corn tortillas that give you a mild corn taste and the flour texture! It’s a winner!!
I made your casserole with the hamburger and no yolk egg noodles and it was a big hit. Its hard to please my five year old grand daughter but she cleaned her plate. This recipe is a big winner.

Besides myself you are the only one on my cooking video people that boils your water before you add salt.That is the way my Mississippi Mama taught me.She said if you put it in the cold water all of the salt will set on the bottom of your pan and it won't season your pasta.
