Hi, I'm not sure whether I fully understand the question, but with OBS you can record as your screen, same as your webcam or any other specific window running in your in your PC. Therefore in case you want to combine your iphone videos with anything you would record in your PC (even your webcam), you can use OBS for this and then edit it in Openshot or any other editing software.

yes, correct. In case you prefer recording with your webcam, you will go with OBS. You can maybe also record wahtever you are recording from two different angles, one from webcam, one from iPhone and then combine them both together to reach more professional result @@ljscalemodels526

What are the chances you will do a video on streaming Xbox through a capture card to correctly capture everything in a game?
not big chances tbh, at least in a near future, Later I can work on it, but not in upcoming months

OBS is primary used for streaming or recording videos. The Openshot on the other side, if I understood correctly is used for editing of the videos.
