Following your lead i have moved to using a double lanyard setup. In conjunction with srt it is the best move i have made. So efficient especially when you need to advance your anchor point or spike up the tree. Really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work and climb safe. Thanks.
Purely constructive criticism for you. First of all I'm no expert and have a whole lot more to learn. With that said, the last thing I ever want to hear or read about is a fellow climber getting injured or worse. A couple outstanding resources for learning safety and being professional are the TCIA and the ISA. The ISA publishes the Z133 Safety Requirements for Arboricultural Operations. In Chapter 8.2.12 it reads "Equipment used to secure an arborist in a tree or to an aerial device shall not be used for anything other than its intended purpose." Please do not mix climbing and rigging gear. I used to do it until I became teachable and realized the danger of mixing gear. I am grateful to the climbers that "encouraged" me to be safe and professional as an arborist. I appreciate your passion for the craft and also the time and effort to edit and post up your videos, thank you. Be teachable and keep yourself safe! 😎👍❤️🌲 Randy
Congratulations very high technical climbing. One question,i observed you are use everything tree spikes with long spikes. The long spikes give you more stability from short spikes ?

100% longer spikes give you that little extra length. If you find yourself struggling with the short spikes this might be the fix.
Nice vid, great climbing!! Your lapel mic, is it plugged in directly to gopro?

Do you own your own company or do you climb for a company
Time to go cut trees. Be safe! Later.
