The fiber optics thing you mentioned is called Vigilite and it’s meant to monitor your headlamps/tail lamps and tell you if you had a bulb burned out.out.
I once owned a1967 version of the SS427 ragtop... discs,F41 susp.,3.73 12 bolt posi, and...the 427.That car would do circles around the 67 RS/SS 396 that also occupied my shop. Also had a 66 Nova wagon with a 327...It was almost as fast as the other two.A nice little crowd indeed, but nothing like this guy's harem...
Awesome collection and cool vid! I have seen plenty of impalas with that trunk release option,I have the accessory Nos just not installed smh lol Im a proud owner of a 68 SS rag Chevelle and a 63 SS rag impala 🙏🏽
@@DezzysSpeedShop Tell him if he wants to save himself a lot of aggravation, I have one that’s completely restored in my shop, I’ve had it since new, it’s going up for sale in the Spring, but it won’t be cheap, everything is new! LOL 👍👌
I passed on 68 SS 427 out of Tennessee.. but not convertible.. hiwever, ibdo know an ex neighbor who has a full optioned factory tri power built in Van Nuys as order by his mother whose now 98 if i remember correctly. Car blue red interior n white top. That cars been sitting on flat tires about 42 years. Ive been after that car for 30 years.. no luck to date
I'm not in to the patina or leave it scratched or dented. I'm one who believes that if you want to own a classic then give it back the respect it deserves, restore.

Any idea who did the paint and body work on the SS427? That car is incredibly straight and the paint is like glass 🤤🤤🤤
