  • LSPosed has effectively replaced XPosed and I can show you how to install this module on Android smartphones and tablets.

    Video Description
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I have the POCO F2 Pro here and in today's video I'll be showing you how to install the popular Magisk Module, LSPosed Framework. This module is required in order to install modules specifically made for LSPosed.
    #Android #SamsungGalaxy #GooglePixel #Xiaomi
    This installation guide will work for Xiaomi devices running MIUI, Samsung Galaxy devices running One UI, Google Pixel devices running Pixel UI, and also AOSP custom ROMs like LineageOS.
    If you're not familiar with what LSPosed is, it is basically a replacement for the popular Xposed Framework. The developer of Xposed had less and less time to dedicate toward their project so others within the community stepped up and created LSPosed to fill the void. LSPosed is a Riru and Zygisk module that attempts to provide an ART hooking framework with APIs for developers to leverage.
    These APIs allow modules to change the behavior of the system and individual apps without actually touching them. Not only is this great because it allows modules to change things in a systemless way, but it also allows for some drastic customization options.
    For this tutorial to work, though, our smartphone or tablet must be rooted with Magisk. Rooting your phone is different for the various devices out there but I show you how this is done for a variety of devices here on the channel. If I haven't done a video for your device then feel free to ask about the process in the comments section below.
    With your phone rooted with the proper superuser binaries, we then need to go into the Magisk application and jump into the Settings area. Some of you may have already enabled Zygisk for your device, but it's best to double check just to make sure.
    This is required in order to activate LSPosed.
    Now, we will need to download the Zygisk version of LSPosed. I'll have a link to the github page for this project in the video description below.
    Once it has been downloaded, let's open up the Magisk application again
    Tap the Modules tab down here at the bottom
    And then choose the Install from Storage option
    This will bring up a file browser for our device and we should find and select the LSPosed zip file that we just downloaded.
    With this module installed, you should see a blue Reboot button down at the bottom right corner.
    Tap it and then let's wait for the smartphone or tablet to reboot.
    Once the device has booted back up, let's first go back into the Magisk application
    So that we can check to make sure the Module has been installed and activated properly
    With this module installed and active, we should also see an LSPosed notification as well.
    This lets us know that the service is running and allows us to access the LSPosed Manager application for the first time.
    I hope this has helped anyone who has been curious about LSPosed and has wanted to try it out. I plan on creating videos on some popular LSPosed Modules in the near future and will be linking back to this video to help people who need a guide on how to get started.
    If you ran into any issues during this process, or just have a question about Android in general, don't hesitate to leave a comment down below and I'll reply as soon as I'm able to.
