Great catch of this VIP flight, this Colombian BBJ is looking good climbing over those mountains!
Thank you Jesse!
Very nice background !!!! First time watching our Colombian Air force one departing like this. Thanks man. COLOMBIA!!
Thank you so much John. All the best to you. Cheers
Great video Matt, our president flies on" air force one" usually escorted by 2 fighter jets, this was a great close up, loud turbines, beautiful sky backdrop my good friend. I bet you got excited to see this one at the airport, have a great day.
Oh yes I was very enthusiastic to spot this Colombian "Air Force One". I hope you are fine my friend. A heat wave has come over Switzerland bringing very hot air directly from Africa. It is around 40 C here which is very unusual.
@@matthiashaenni well, if you like that weather, enjoy it my good friend, here in kentucky it has been hot and humid, (i don't care for humidity, lol)plus we have set a record for the most amount of rain for the month of june since they started keeping records, has been unreal, april is usual month of heavy rain falls, my wife and i plant a small garden of vegetables, and they are thriving due to all the moisture, but too much of a good thing can be detrimentle to the plants, so we are hoping for some dryer weather. Yes i knew you would be enthusiastic about that jet, wish we could get a view of the plush cabin interior. Have a great day my good friend.
@@stevelogan5475 Thanks :) It is too hot for me. Have a great day too. Cheers Matt
@@matthiashaenni i'm not a fan of the heat either 60's-70's F with low to no humidity is fine with me. My wife loves the hot weather , i have no idea why other than she likes to sun bathe and get a tan, i stay in the a/c or in the shade if outside and possible, btw, yes everyone here is fine, hope all is the same with you and your wife, i don't think you ever have mentioned if you have children, if so i hope they are fine also. I have 3 sons, 2 daughters, and 2 grand daughters, all are fine, all are grown and out on their own, except grand daughters, lol, they are 5 and 2 years of age, have a great day my good friend.
@@matthiashaenni Matt, just got a post today on bombadiers new large private jet, really sharp, if you you have not seen it yet, and if you are interested, check it out on google. Type in bombadier global 7500, it has a nautical mile range of 7700, top speed is mach 0.925 which believe it or not, the company says that speed is the most fuel efficient for this jet, wow, passenger capacity is 19, they are already receiving p.o.'s /for this jet. Cabin interior is very plush, almost like a white tablecloth small restaurant, lol. They did not show a lot of outer views of the jet, but what little i did see on the viewing, it looks very aerodynamic, the nose in front is much more of an acute angle than the standard bombadier, if you could call one standard, lol, anyway have a great day my good friend. btw, i'm still learning on the internet/ ipad, and i don't know how to do this, but could you forward this post to Jesse at HDAviation ?, i wanted him to see because he is a good friend also, and i always view his videos and post a comment. I appreciate it if you can, my hand is wore out today, and i did not want to type all of this again, lol. Have a great evening my good friend.
What a Catch and Sound!

@@matthiashaenni Sehr gerne.
Very cool!!
Thank you!! Next video will be a Falcon 8x :) But Gulfstream is also coming soon! Cheers Matt
Another fine Take Off Matt.....Trevor.''
Thank you Trevor! It was great to see this B737 from Colombia.
Nice catch, nice and utilitarian outwardly, I wonder about the avionics package and the interior layout, thanks again for your great "catches"!!
Thank you for your kind words. Much appreciated. It is definitely a sweet ride for the pax. Cheers Matt
Hermoso
Thank you very much!
Amazing catch! Enjoyed watching!! #109
Thank you! Much appreciated. It was great to spot this aircraft at Bern.
Saludos desde Colombia
Muchas gracias
Se ve muy imponente
Very cool, Matt! Now I am wondering what all political leaders of the world fly. Great video, can never get enough of those beautiful mountains. Thank you!
Thank you so Bruce! The Swiss Alps are so beautiful. It is so impressive to see them during the climb out - love it too. Cheers Matt
Royalty flies royal my friend, and even though this is a 737, they are not designed in the cabin with rows of seats like a normal passenger jet, they usually look like a high dollar penthouse, they are plush inside, think high dollar private jet only a larger scale
@@stevelogan5475 I was thinking in terms of aircrafts. But you be absolutely right. Flyin in style...
Had same thought some time ago, found a wiki article about it. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_transports_of_heads_of_state_and_government
@@johnn8925 Great link John. Thanks!
Great footage again Matt. You know, Colombia is located in west side of Venezuela.
Thank you Alberto! Yes, very far away from Switzerland.
Yes Matt. Colombia and Venezuela are joined by historical events.
😎
Thanks!
actually it is mine!!!
;)
LOL Cheers Matt
My friend, i see your posts periodically and you always say "it is mine" i laugh everytime friend, hey, if you are goona dream/wish, do it big. When honda came out with their vlj i posted my saying as " dear santa, i have been a good boy all year" , and i'm 56, lol, i usually get some chuckles posted on that, it is my standard post anytime i see a plane i want, my friend, have a great day
Hello, can I use your video for a compilation?
No thanks
@@matthiashaenni ok
Top Fang!
Can the 737 even reach Colombia from Switzerland non-stop?.
This BBJ's has extra fuel tanks which increases the range up to 10 200 km. The flight distance between Bern and Bogotá is around 9'000 km. So yes, it should be theoretically possible. The big question is whether the aircraft still could take-off at Bern with full tanks. The runway is only 1730 metres long.
I myself like stopovers.
Interesting. Thanks.
Jajajaja el micrófono
I wonder what about this aircraft from colombian state didn't taking back folks people around the world to returning home in the quarentine, that's could be really humanitarian fligths for nationals, but it's didn't.
Na das ist ja mal ein Highlight.
Ja das war schon ein ganz spezieller Gast! Vielen Dank!
Gorgeous.
Does beg the question; what's the Columbian Pres doing in Bern?
A head of state in Switzerland seems unusual?
Thanks for watching! Much appreciated. President Iván Duque made a state visit to Switzerland (see video description). Cheers Matt
Swiss bank accounts, usually for the rich and famous, the swiss are very protective of the privacy of their clients my friend
@@stevelogan5475 No longer that much, Steve! The bank secrecy is still here but the era has come to an end. Banks began automatically sharing client data with tax authorities wordwide.
It's Colombian, not 'Columbian'.
Dios bendiga al honorable presidente de Colombia ... Dr Duque
