UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER is THE constant among the German metal scene. Originally becoming world-famous as a founding member of Accept, he continues to steadily expand upon his international successes with his U.D.O. and Dirkschneider outfits. Remaining true to himself over the years in a way few musicians could, DIRKSCHNEIDER consistently bucks music industry trends in favor of following his heart. My Way is his most personal and extraordinary album to date and makes one thing clear: many in the music industry have come and gone over the years. Yet, UDO DIRKSCHNEIDER is still here.
UDO has also always been extremely popular in Russia. In this short video he explains that he can't play Russia for the foreseeable future. He also talks about how his Guitar Player had to escape Ukraine to safety in Germany.

I also was a fan of russia during a period of time, but the things they did since Maidan in 2014 are just terrible and inexcusable. They did the wrong choice, and I am glad that the world at last understands.

Не считаю её агрессором в войне
Но и выбор Удо я одобряю, понятно что в Европы и США публика не приняла бы его решения давать концерты в России в 2022 году
Но ничего, я уверен что Удо ещё выступит с концертами в России

ну как сказать, я посмотрела с переводом это видео и говорит он, что тур по Украине и России не возможны до 23-24 года потому что на Украине военные действия а в России все прочие группы отменяют концерты и он за компанию, и что-то про Путина сказал что-то вроде ,, я не знаю что этот парень в Кремле принимает, какие наркотики, то есть Удо подвержен западной пропаганде СМИ и считает Россию агрессором, хотя это не так. В общем переобулся старик, но про фанов ничего плохого вроде не говорил
