When you only pay $6.50 for your pork chop sandwich and fries, you always get a bone in the sandwich! You mean you didn’t know that?🤣😂
hahah we're still learning lol
@@CoreyWagnerChicago LOL
I miss these...3am with onions and mustard...and those fries😮😮😮😮❤
The bone ALWAYS comes with the Pork Chop sandwich....I can remember the original Maxwell Street food me & my grandma used to get when we shopped on Halsted back in the 80's. UIC is there now, but man those were good days.
they're sooooo good! we're a little slow to learning about the bone lol
Thanks!
thank you good sir!
@CoreyWagnerChicago anytime my guy. Hope you're having a great week bud!
fantastic week! Hope you're having a good one too brother! @@derekboudreau2144
There's a new sandwich I just heard of called the Pot Dog. I'd love a breaded pork cutlet sammie (the one you showed in the flashback clip looked killer). I haven't seen anything like it around these parts.
hahahhahahahhaha I love the Eat Local/Number Six With Cheese comments crossover!
Thanks for coming to Bridgeport and trying one of my favorite sandwiches!💯
you know it! One of the best food neighborhoods in the city for sure!
I felt bad that my donation could have killed both of you from bone in pork chop sandwiches but for $6.50 a sandwich, I think a bone was expected! Lol
hahah don't kill us Jeff! Nah that was an awesome sandwich though! Glad you get a video with a tasty one dude!
Maxwell the best at the end of a night of drinks .
facts!
Super facts
Cuban sandwiches! They're on the up but there's not enough hype on the amazing Cubano sammie!
I love making pork chops sandwiches at home. What I like to do is super simple. I put pork chops in a foil pan and take bbq sauce, and cover the chops completely, then cook them on the grill until they're done. So good!
damn, I might have to try that!
Bone-In Pork Chop Sandwiches are a damn near Century old Maxwell Street (and Halsted) tradition. When visiting Jim's Original, I ask them to put Sport Peppers on mine...Great!
damnnnnn! I bet with sportpeppers its even better!
I had a bit about this sandwich because that's how much I like it. Cooking meat on the bone makes it more tender.
duuude! I should have know you knew about this beauty!
such an entertaining video you guys! just a little side note, when you make a pork chop, bring it to room temp before cooking. there are my different things to do to make it amazing after that, but that's just a tip that makes it juicy. I'm sure KB has some good input. I WANT that sandwich you just ate. the onions! omg.
I love a good cooking tip!
Kim Pine's Favorite :D

:)
@@CoreyAndSeanEatLocal Yeah :D
Back in the 70s my mom worked in a hospital on the southwest side.that sandwich was offered weekly for the emergency room staff.
that's awesome!
Bone in! Tastes great! Cook your meat with the bone, adds flavor. I like plain food. Go for it.
that's the truth man! get all the flavor you can get!
Classic Chicago sandwich. After a night out at the bars on Taylor street or in the west loop a quick stop for one of those sandos definitely Hits the spot
Great review
100% Such a solid post bar move
Banh mi sandwiches to me are slept on.
that's true! Most definitely not talked about enough!
Breaded pork tenderloins were my children's favorite meal when they were growing up… they would beg for them every day
They're so damn good! That doesn't surprise me at all!
In my opinion, the Culver's pot roast sandwich is slept on! Lmao 😂
But seriously, Fried bologna has got to be up there for an underrated sandwich. Ate em growing up, and still do!
hahahah uh oh, we might have to head back and try that pot roast sammie again lol
Grilled 1.5 inch thk porterhouse chops r my LOVE- BUTTA. My sneaker grill skilz for guests-no bbq just solid seasoning. Looks top.
Sneaker sando: Cubano, pork tenderloin, french dip
those all sound amazing!
looked great but im big on just picking up a sandwich and just being able to eat it w/o having to de-bone anything
I respect that
Butte, Montana's Pork Chop Johns. Iconic. Legend. And delicious!
time for me to make a trip!
that stealie hat though
what's a stealie hat?
chicken cheesesteaks are kinda underrated/slept on.
that's a damn good point!
The chicken cheesesteak from jersey Mike's so underrated
jersey mikes as a whole is kind of underrated!
But it's not Chicago
yall never had a maxwell st polish! thats crazy!!
we've had those! just never the pork sandwich. I think we have a few videos on our other food channel of us eating maxwell st polish's. We talk about them all the time on Number Six With Cheese actually. We like them wayyyyy more than a Chicago dog and talk about wish tourists would go for that instead.
I'll take two😂
right!
The bone-in chop cuts are tastier, juicier, and cheaper. Makes sense for them to use them. Another slept on pork sandwich in Chicago: JT's Geniune Pork & Greens. Omg that ish is GOOD.
oh man, I love jt's genuine and I've never tried that one. Going to have to snag that soon!
Though i suppose it technically isn't a sandwich and might only be a Wisconsin thing but you can never go wrong with a hashbrown sandwich.
I freaking love anything potato-centric so I'm in!
The bone in sandwhich never made any sense to me. At least Indiana is known for the friend pork tenderloin sammy.
plumps last stand! Great fried pork tenderloin!
deep fried butterfly Polish with cheese
Papa Mustache, how did I get my name? Well Maxwell, you see there's these Polish Sausages ..............................................
hahahha
I could eat that everyday.
same! its for real so freaking good!
You can't be from Chicago if you've never had a pork chop sand with a bone in it
well that's true, neither of us are from Chicago, just been here awhile
Bones give flavor.
facts!!!!

lol
Slow roasted meat and gravy rolls. Cheap AF. Hits different. Maybe it's an Aussie thing?
I mean that sounds damn good!
Angry whopper. Bring it back too
YES!!!!!
Gotta stick with the sloppy joe!!
ugh, I freaking love sloppy joe!
Porkerwicher
add that to the list of things I need to try!
Sounds porky (meaning delicious). What is it exactly?
😊
Pretty much mediocre dog food. Nostalgia doesn't mean good. LOL
this honestly sounds like someone who hasn't eaten this lol it's undeniably delicious
What was lol about a stupid ass comment like that
How can you go there and not do your research about the bone in pork chop sandwich that has been served for decades? you to guys are not the brightest sparks to come off the angle grinder. Aka lack of common sense brothers = a good stage name ;)
You also have to understand that some people just pop into places without any knowledge of the place, or items on the menu. We're two normal dudes just popping into places and trying the food without any predisposed thoughts/feelings on what it's supposed to be like. Do you think every single person walks into Maxwell Street Depot and knows that pork chop sandwiches are served with the bones in them?
Dude you ever been called a dbag if not well let me be the 1st your a dbag
@@CoreyAndSeanEatLocalGood point. Tell em, Chief!!!!!👍✌️
