You can make the rocks disappear by opening the weapon menu, letting you shoot again. With that trick, it's actually half decent. However, it's very situational.
Actually, I find Stone Man's weapon to be very useful. Once you understand a bit better the rocks' movement, it can be useful, specially for clearing off the smaller, weak flying enemies that appear on several stages. Not just that, but I also found it easy to use when fighting against Gravity Man. It's not the most effective weapon, of course, but it's still an alternative. Now, if we talk about Top Man's weapon... yeah, that one's probably the weapon I like the least from Megaman 1-6.
It could have been a great weapon if it's damage would have been stronger. You'd find myself using it all the time against the bigger enemies, but it just deflects off them most of the time!
Big same. Half the reason I want The Megas to keep going, aside from just making KILLER jams, is seeing what they do with this and Proto Fortress. This song lives with me ever since I heard it, and it alone makes Stone Man one of my favorite Masters in the series.
@@RaposaCadela There actually is a way too tell that you can shoot the wall. The floor tiles go past the wall. Of course, It's not entirely obvious, but the way that room is set up, a first timer would have a 50-90% chance of accidentally hitting the wall, trying to shoot the Subeil, that assumedly hit you off the ladder, and down to the floor in a panic. So there's two ways too tell.
Hey, how clever! I guess everyone got it by accident, as I too did. Too bad that kind of mechanic isn't used anywhere else in the game aside from Stoneman's stage. I think there are other rooms there in which you can break the wall, but I have no idea which these are.
I don't know why, but I randomly got this ol' tune in my head this evening, and in an attempt to find the original song, I came across this lovely remix by accident. No regrets~ This is probably one of the best sounding versions I've heard of this song, too. It keeps the original game feel while adding a few extra enhancements to it that remind me of the old Marvel Vs. Capcom games I enjoyed.
I still wonder why Stone Man's weapon isn't Crystal Man's weakness. Crystal Man is literally made out of crystal and crystal shatters when a heavy object impacts it, like a stone. THEN WHY IS HIS WEAKNESS A STUPID HELICOPTER BLADE!?
The impact is more focused when hit with a blade like object, and due to the weapon gyrating, it would have been even more likely to shatter it. Not to mention, those crystals are solid, so a mere heavy object may not have been enough.
For a Robot Master with a really terrible weapon, he has a pretty damn good stage theme.

Reminds me of a certain RM in Mega Man 3...

Try his weapon in MMIV (gb). Big improvement: bigger hitbox, each stone hits as hard as a charged shot, better arc movement

Stone Man's theme has always been one of my favorites from MM5.
Me too

Oh, Fragile-Brick Man... I will always remember my first MM5 playthrough, and totally walking past the 'G' on his stage...
XD
To be honest, it was very badly hidden. Badly as in "how the fuck was I supposed to know to shoot that one specific wall?"

all along Stone Man had a child and his name was Block Man
I can now actually see Stone Man being some sort of relative of Block Man, although him being some sort of a dad to Block Man would be pretty fitting.
prob a remodel of a already existing design for block man
that would be adorable, and it would make sense since he is often called small
I think stone man and cold man makes block man bc one of block mans end battle quotes is
“ Stone cold!”
If Stone Man's the father, who's the mother?

I can kinda hear Ryu's stage theme from Street Fighter in here
The sounds are perfect. I love it so much!
I prefer V1 more but this is pretty amazing too! Love your work!~
I just want to mention, I think Stone Man's stage music could fit a Pokémon route
This puts the official Complete Works CPS-2 remix to shame.
Stone man has a pretty good theme, which is surprising because I kind of find his stage and boss to be pretty bland
Stone Man Theme - Marvel vs Capcom
I don't know how, but you turned my least favorite Stage theme of Mega Man 5 into something truly extraordinary
Perfect Team Guts Man And Stone Man
Would you be alright with sharing the kinds of soundfonts that you use?
soundfonts arent a real thing. just use whatever samples you want
Atleast his weapon was cool in the Megaman from Arcade
This is rock solid, man
awesome, keep it up.
perfect 😉
Can you do Charge Man's theme? :D
