I used to think that this sounded too bouncy for a legendary battle theme but after listening to it intentionally a few times I realize it’s really an epic banger
To me, considering N tells you that they’re fighting you just so you can prove that you’re worthy of capturing them, it feels less of a legendary Pokemon battle and more of a test of strength

I mean at this point you have to prove you're the chosen one and are worthy of being partners with the legendary pokemon and doing battle with N. And I think the theme fits that perfectly well.
With Hoopa pulling all of these Pokemon from their own time/dimension, you have to wonder what kinds of things are happening in their original placement. I can imagine N trying to summon Zekrom or Reshiram in front of the player from B/W, then a giant ring appears out of nowhere just to snatch it up. And there goes Ghetsis's plan right out the window. Or even worse, when N literally saves your life at the last second in B2/W2 using Zekrom/Reshiram to block Kyurem's attack...

In my opinion, both descriptions would not be accurate since being truly realistic is not the same as being a cynical pessimistic bastard ( Since reality is NOT made of only bad things ) and being an idealist does not equal being 100% upbeat and optimistic ( Since there is a difference between blind idealism ( or fanaticism ) and idealism accompained by wisdom and common sense ), but it would've indeed been interesting ( and funny ) if they were depicted that way because maybe it could symbolize that they're imperfect without each other ( though that wouldn't be the case, because they represent Yin and Yang and according to Taotism there's always a bit of Yin in Yang and vice-versa ).
An ideal, as depicted through N's actions in B/W, is a dream or a wish for the future. Truth, as depicted by the player's actions, is the knowledge that people and Pokemon need each other to survive and that Team Plasma is wrong for trying to separate them (even without Ghetsis' plan to disarm Unova's population).

Funny Story: Reshiram is one of my favorite Legendaries, but I used to hate it so much. When the game was first released, I wanted Zekrom, but what I didn't know was that you got Zekrom in Pokemon White, not Black(I was 11 okay? I thought automatically Black=Zekrom, White=Reshiram) I was so pissed and promised myself not to use Reshiram at all(since I couldn't change my preorder). I went through the entire game and after being touched by the story so much, I used Reshiram and it helped so much. I began liking it so much that It was the first Pokemon I ever leveled up to lv100.
I can relate to that. My first Pokemon on lvl 100 was swampert in Ruby back then, it was over years my favourite Pokemon^^ (its still one of my favourites just because of the memories)

Are you sure this theme applies to both? It seems Zekrom's theme for me. Reshiram's variation had some flame SFX around 1:18 and all I hear is dem thunders.

Apollo Justice Zekrom/Reshiram theme is certainly one of the most well-written music in pokemon. It surely sounds happy and pumped up for countless reasons that makes this theme one of the best. It includes : amazing synergy between tempo+drums, very good cymbals, awesome orchestra hits at the beginning, the mind-blowing timpani+piano part, insane bass that has variations everywhere in every single pattern, epic combination of Trumpets+Horns+Strings, Flute+Oboe+Piano small themes, and in general great chords between each instruments. Without forgetting the intro... Gen 5 is way better at orchestrating that any other gen. This is far better than any of the shit pop/techno/electro/dubstep/nightcore or whatever we are flooded nowadays.
I love the classic style triumphant melody that pops in for a moment before the music gets right back to business. Such a nice touch. This theme bops so much. The dragon trio are my favorite legendaries. I really love that all of the dragon types introduced in generation 5 look like actual dragons.

To me this gen is deep as hell In black, N has the ideal mindset that pokemon are prisoners to trainers. But only you reveal the truth that it’s not so dark. That there is a bond between Pokémon In white, N finds out the truth that pokemon are held captive to their trainers and are forced to battle. But you show N the ideal that not everyone is a bad person and some trainers share a incredible bond with their pokemon Shits deep man
Several years ago, (before ORAS came out) I went on Wonder Trade in Y. I chose a dunsparce. I was just sitting there, watching a video, And the other person sent back a shiny lvl 100 Reshiram (nickamed) Adam. I was genuinely surprised. At the time, I didn’t know that Reshiram was shiny locked in BW, so I assumed that this person worked really hard to shiny hunt it. A few years later, I learned that Reshiram was shiny locked. Which meant only one thing, that reshiram was hacked. Although it was hacked, my game somehow didn’t crash and I got to keep that Reshiram. I lost the save file though. RIP
Reshiram and Zekrom are actually shiny locked. Thus meant that at the time, there was no way to get a legitimate shiny reshiram or zekrom. Unless an event happened at that time. But my reshiram came from a great ball lol
Reshiram's presence alone demanded me to capture it. But nooo, they gave it an awesome cry, too. Many a pokeball lay shattered that day. And many a Pokepuff fed to a horrifying dragonmonster.
I like this legendary theme the best as it has a good pacing of rhythm! It starts off quick and intimidating at N has brought these two dragons up to be frightening and dangerous. As it gets into the loop it becomes more upbeat as you begin to realise that these are not monsters but relics of ideals and truth!

Ah yes, Reshiram and Zekrom. AKA the Pokemon equivalents to the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the Red-Eyes Black Dragon. I'll bet the Yu-Gi-Oh fans had an absolute field day with these guys back when Nintendo first revealed them. 😂
Kinda disappointing that these legendaries use the original version of their themes. But hey, you know what they say: Don't fix what ain't broken. ...we have so many years to wait for those games' remakes and their legendary remixes.
I think the pattern might be, they don't make a remake until 2 generations of game consoles later. Gen 5 didn't get remakes because they were on the same console as Gen 4, and therefore there wouldn't have been much of an upgrade, since it's only one console away from Gen 3's original console (again, I think. This is mostly just speculation on my part). As long as Gen 7 is on a different console, I think we'll get remakes--or at least, games that are set in Sinnoh.
ff fan123 It could've happened if Gen 5 went on a bit longer. To date, I think Gen 5 is the shortest-lived Generation there is. The main games, then actual sequels to them 1-2 (2 if in Japan) years later. We could've got Grey, but I guess at this rate, BW2 are in fact our Grey version, now in 2 versions.

I really like this theme, it gives off a feeling of "Are you powerful enough to train me?" Like, it's still somewhat intimidating at times, but also triumphant.

Apollo Justice Zekrom/Reshiram theme is certainly one of the most well-written music in pokemon. It surely sounds happy and pumped up for countless reasons that makes this theme one of the best.
It includes : amazing synergy between tempo+drums, very good cymbals, awesome orchestra hits at the beginning, the mind-blowing timpani+piano part, insane bass that has variations everywhere in every single pattern, epic combination of Trumpets+Horns+Strings, Flute+Oboe+Piano small themes, and in general great chords between each instruments. Without forgetting the intro...
Gen 5 is way better at orchestrating that any other gen. This is far better than any of the shit pop/techno/electro/dubstep/nightcore or whatever we are flooded nowadays.

I love the classic style triumphant melody that pops in for a moment before the music gets right back to business. Such a nice touch. This theme bops so much. The dragon trio are my favorite legendaries. I really love that all of the dragon types introduced in generation 5 look like actual dragons.

In white, N finds out the truth that pokemon are held captive to their trainers and are forced to battle. But you show N the ideal that not everyone is a bad person and some trainers share a incredible bond with their pokemon

Several years ago, (before ORAS came out) I went on Wonder Trade in Y. I chose a dunsparce. I was just sitting there, watching a video, And the other person sent back a shiny lvl 100 Reshiram (nickamed) Adam. I was genuinely surprised. At the time, I didn’t know that Reshiram was shiny locked in BW, so I assumed that this person worked really hard to shiny hunt it. A few years later, I learned that Reshiram was shiny locked. Which meant only one thing, that reshiram was hacked. Although it was hacked, my game somehow didn’t crash and I got to keep that Reshiram. I lost the save file though. RIP

Reshiram and Zekrom are actually shiny locked. Thus meant that at the time, there was no way to get a legitimate shiny reshiram or zekrom. Unless an event happened at that time. But my reshiram came from a great ball lol

I like this legendary theme the best as it has a good pacing of rhythm! It starts off quick and intimidating at N has brought these two dragons up to be frightening and dangerous. As it gets into the loop it becomes more upbeat as you begin to realise that these are not monsters but relics of ideals and truth!

I think the pattern might be, they don't make a remake until 2 generations of game consoles later. Gen 5 didn't get remakes because they were on the same console as Gen 4, and therefore there wouldn't have been much of an upgrade, since it's only one console away from Gen 3's original console (again, I think. This is mostly just speculation on my part). As long as Gen 7 is on a different console, I think we'll get remakes--or at least, games that are set in Sinnoh.
ff fan123 It could've happened if Gen 5 went on a bit longer. To date, I think Gen 5 is the shortest-lived Generation there is. The main games, then actual sequels to them 1-2 (2 if in Japan) years later. We could've got Grey, but I guess at this rate, BW2 are in fact our Grey version, now in 2 versions.
