Vishnu is the right person to do this sort of thing about IAF. Being a former Air Force technician (MiG 21) who was in the North-East I am glad to know about the upgradations taking place there. All power to the IAF from an Air Veteran!

We need to build our own ENGINES
for all applications;
Especially for Aircrafts..Fighters;
Nuclear subs; Amphibious attack vessels etc.

During Second World War Allied Powers ( USA and Britain ) developed excellent Air bases in the North East ( like Tezpur , Jorhat etc). From these bases Allies` Long Range Bombers would cross the Himalayas and bomb Japanese positions in China.
Unfortunately, many of these air bases were closed down by PM Nehru after Independence

India has to find out other way of building S400 or S500 like air defence systems to counter China threat. Build more fleet of fighter jets or squadron to counter.
Bharat politician and defense head's answer for China's increasing technology threat is WAIT UNTIL LAST MOMENT and start investing on old and proven technology.

I found the interview very informative,could u pl explain what do u mean sir ?
he mean that the guy is dodging the questions and seems to show that we are all ok and have no real Chinese threat. We are matching up with all other players around us including China. Worst thing is that he is doing this in a very trivial way of mentioning Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar and equating China and India with them.@@praveendugar4122
