One of the hardest songs ever to sing and this group is killing it because although its a cover...they recreated it....rearranged it and fit Marc's vocal range perfectly. Some people are complaining the rhythm section is to loud. Not really music is a loud entertainment and it has to suck the crowd as much as the singer. This was an old throw back type Louisiana sound much like the Boogie Kings, Tommy McClain, and the Foret Tradition. You gotta appreciate the southern experience its an example of great artists in the blues and soul world. Marc Broussard has that southern soul and that semi-raspy voice that puts that extra touch on His style of singing. Great song and great music thanks for posting....
I appreciate your comment. I'm just a music fan, not a videographer, who caught this magical moment with a point and shoot camera from the rail. I am deaf now, but with Cochlear Implants going on 4 yrs I am starting to be able to at least enjoy music again. It will most likely never sound as great as it did back then. I have not been to a live music show since the Radiators in 2018, just a few days before my first surgery. Anyway, people complain about the audio but to me these are special days I will always treasure. So I thank you.
The guy to the left of Marc playing acoustic looks like Tommy Malone of the Subdudes....one of the best guitar players and singers around...give the Dudes a listen !!!
I'm from Louisiana Marc is the best thing to come out in the way of music in a long time, such a soulful voice.
