You should try audio books. I'm a huge book person (I teach!) but with life being so busy and especially after having a baby it's so nice to be able to multitask. Unless you're learning how to physically decode words you get the same benefits by reading from the page or listening (students learning to read DO need to physically read but once reading is mastered audio books are awesome!)
