It's the first full Android watch I've seen myself to be honest haha. It can't replace a phone in my opinion, the display is just too small. But it's a lot of fun. Thanks for the kind words too :)
This watch overall is a very nice watch, the only issue which is more of a warning is that it has absolutely NO IP Rating whatsoever, don't let the "life waterproof" fool you because it's an absolute lie, and the fact that KOSPET can lie like this makes me feel that I could in no way recommend it. The camera has a nifty feature that allows it to swing, this is the sole reason that it is not at all waterproof. Behind this rotating camera is a little ribbon that runs into the watch, and to get this ribbon inside there is a BIG hole in the side of the watch, this can easily be verified by removing the Sim card tray and simply blowing into the watch, you will feel and hear the air happily flowing out of the gap by the camera. And don't think keeping the camera flipped down will help because it absolutely won't unfortunately. I give this warning because my watch got wet, just from a simple hand wash for 5 seconds and the water got everywhere in the watch, the screen died and the phone took 2 weeks to just turn back on, the watch had to then be disassembled to be thoroughly cleaned inside for it to start working again. This is when I discovered the nice hole that goes straight through the watch frame. The buttons are also not water proof so if you press while near water it will get in unfortunately. This device has son much possibilities but the absolute lack of any water resistance coupled with the ip rating lie makes me suggest you move on to a different device / brand altogether. I'm first smart watch was an Amazfit and this device is totally waterproof so perhaps I had too high an expectation that I could simply wash my hand and not worry.
Haha that is very true. It's a lot of fun...but text can be extremely small. Good fun making WhatsApp video calls on your wrist though. Thanks for checking it out 😄
Great video...How do you enable google assistant to respond to voice command (without having to press any buttons?)..I can only get it to work from inside the app by pressing the mic symbol.
Having had this watch for over 1 year now, I think it is the smartest watch on planet, it is Literally a Super android computer on your wrist with the Google Assisstant at the beck of your call 24/7, and it is way smarter than any Wear OS watch, so it is Absolutely Awesome!
I ordered it pretty early. Since then it lays on my table, unused. The cam becomes blind if you sweat under a jacket or pullover. Even short and lightly floating water is destroying the cam. That's for nearby 200€ a pity. It's a nice to have gimmick but not for bad weather and never ever for work. And it becomes pretty hot while calling. Get me right, a great watch with a nice performance! If you don't care for the water topic or the heat...BUY IT AND YOU'LL BE SATISFIED WITH THIS LITTLE BIG PHONE!
As the owner of an Optimist Pro who is very satisfied with the functions I am more concerned about the plastic case as the strap lugs on this Optimist 2 look very similar. My watch has had light use so it took 3 years to fall off my wrist while sitting in an arm chair. I have recently learned others have had the same problem after a few months. The problem is failure of one of the jugs exposing the brass threaded insert for one of the backplate screws. Whether it is quality of the material or just the use of minimal material in the design of this region I cannot say but much as the Optimist 2 looks ahead of the competition as a watch it is no good if I cannot put it on my wrist.
I don’t understand why they don’t make a square face watch like this to illuminate not be able to see the corners or the bottoms and just leave it at that my other question is, does the battery get really warm on your wrist if you’re watching a RUclips video or a TikTok
Hopefully the manufacturers of this watch can impove the " lift to wake" feature to make it work well with Google Assistant, the lift to wake is disappointing, but this can be easily fixed by installing a " shakeunlock" app from play store, the but it uses too much battery, at least 10% power every hour, so hopefully the " lift to wake" function can be fixed so that it works seamlessly when you want to trigger Google assistant by saying " Hey google" when the screen is lit up when lifting hand, because Google assistant only works when the screen is On.
Hahaha well thanks for catching the rest of it, Dan! Yes...it's crazy really. Text is tiny so you couldn't really replace a phone with it. But it's a lot of fun to play with 😄
That's so cool. Didn't know there were watches that run full android. Great video as usual...

Hello checkmark
@@LifeofTechUK Any other smart watch models with smaller square dial and similarly powerful configuration?
Would like to see a video call done on the watch! I've had mine for 1.5 year, and am looking at the next Ticwatch with OS3.
Visuals absolutely spot on as always mate. Splendid.
That watch though, imagine wearing that to an orgy 😂😂😂
Well thanks for the kind words Dave. And.....trust you mate!! 🤦🏻♂️😂
Haven't used an Android watch in a long time. Looks like they made some changes in these years 😅

@@LifeofTechUK At least you have proper Whatsapp. Both my Apple and Samsung watches are missing this...

Too much BS gimmickry on this watch. Glad I didn't buy it. Cameras on watches are useless anyways...especially with NO waterproofing!
@erome5578 is it not good?
It's been 3 years have they updated to make waterproof yet?
Hi .I live in Turkey .Smartwatch very very nice .It has a lot of features

Right!!! Samsung needs to make a 10 year anniversary of the Gear S big ass curved rectangular wrap screen with camera and flashlight and waterproof
Have they made a waterproof 4g lte camera w flashlight version yet?

Got one it's amazing
Does the camera support night vision ? Thanks
If you'll download the Droid watch app from the play store ,that is going to resolve the notifications issue
Does Anyone know about any other smart watch models with smaller square dial and similarly powerful configuration as Kospet Optimus 2 ?
What about Kospet Prime 2?
Kind of bonkers. I watched half of this video a week ago and just watched the rest 😅

Although the watch has LTE feature, this feature is not active. I guess there is no such deception at this hour.
