    2:45 Ashgebat also has a requirement that any and all automobiles operating in the city must be white. It is a spectacularly beautiful city with huge wide roads and electronic signs stretching overhead about every kilometer. Very little traffic of course.

    Isn't Tel Aviv the capital of Israel?

    • @TopoTriviaTrek
      @TopoTriviaTrek  22 дня назад

      No, Tel Aviv is not the capital of Israel. The capital of Israel is Jerusalem. Jerusalem is the seat of the Israeli government and hosts the President's residence, government offices, the Supreme Court, and the Knesset (Israel's parliament). According to Wikipedia: “In 1980, Israel passed the Jerusalem Law, which declared that "Jerusalem, complete and united, is the capital of Israel.”

      It's important to note however, that the issue is complex and sensitive when it comes to international relations.

      "Isn't Tel Aviv the capital of Israel?"
      Yes, it isn't. Officially it was until some years ago. The United States maintained its embassy there and if I remember right during Donald Trump's presidency moved it to the "de facto" capital Jerusalem.
